imo and abia never had a governor since 1999 , the only governor I respect from that region is Sam mbakwe , that's in the 80s

He did very well but not the best like you opine. Moreover, his tenure was too short (3 years) to completely judge him. He performed below par as a senator that was why he was voted out of the senate. If the people really cared about his party, he wouldn't have been a senator under ACN (the only senator in ACN from SE then )despite contesting against the likes of Prof. Dora Akunyili who was in APGA with Obi's backing.

Any time you want to know the worst governor from the south east have my answer handy - Okezea Ikpeazu from Ngwa.
