What the fvck?
This is just like a beggar returning a 100naira note to Dangote.
Was this not the same reason Solomon Dalung refused to return FIFA's money?

They should have seized it for their own battle in the NorthEast.
America would never do the same if the reverse were the case.A smuggled good is smuggled good plus the integrity of the Nigerian borders was undermined.

America would have lost no sleep replacing those military vehicles but apparently, our Government don't care so much about the war on terror.
they won't care because they created the terror groups in the first place.

I don't think so
It's like seeing someone's 1000naira and keeping it even though you know the owner, it's called stealing

Probably, this American govt may be one of those sponsoring this boko boys, how will you smuggled this kind of military trucks entered independent nation without informing the govt, without this total closure of the border they will have smuggled it without notice by anybody, NA only God known the number of arms and ammunition they had smuggled through our borders and since when this kind of thing had been going on
That's d issue my brother, how will on earth u entered into another person's country without due process. Things they don't accept is what the ably want people to accept. Though I don't blame them, I blamed Nigeria govt 4 their weakness. They can't beat their chest to try this with small country Iran because they know their might but Naija, koko nothing to offer rather depend on them

The vehicles were enroute to boko boys no doubt. It's the same MRAP they use in their propaganda videos. Or how do we explain the possession of MRAP by the Bh boys, ? No sane country will try to smuggle million dollar worth of vehicle through a country u have a bilateral relationship with.
If u know u know

No country returns smuggled goods or equipment. Leader's under Buhari all take wrong decisions that is never in our interest. May God deliver us from this one chance vehicle we have entered.

I know,OK. Are those military hardwares supposed to be moved through our borders without declaring them?
2.If it's for covert/overt operations, the NIA,NAI,NCS, or significant others are supposed to know. Try and take(smuggled) any military hardwares close to US boder or any of it's base and see fire, once it's without their knowledge.
3.The military(drone air skit) base in Niger is mainly for counter terrorism, how many terrorist HV they neutralized since it's inception?
Considering that Niger is central to fight due to it's links with Libya, Niger, Mali,Chad, and significant others.

This simply showed that the military vehicles may be destined for the Boko haram use.
Nigeria ought to have investigated this issue.Little wonder,France is being accused of supporting BH

My thoughts...
Those mines resistants vehicle were smuggled by the white men to support boko boys but fortunately out securities intercepts them, the came up with the lies that those vehicle were meant to be taken to Niger Republic.
Wait a minute why not ship those things to Niger directly?
How those vehicle arrived in Nigeria in the first place?

More evidence that the military doest support the end of insurgency in Nigeria
You meant we should have refused to hand over USA assets back to them? These vehicles are infinitesimal compared to what is at stake concerning Nigeria-USA relationship. It is not ours, not meant for us, why not let it go?
Re: Nigerian Customs Hands Over 6 Mine-resistant Military Vehicles To US Govt (Pic) by chibyke02(m): 9:33am On Oct 15, 2019
There's no doubt now that the US has something to do with the BH.
These mines were meant for BH that's why it entered through our boarder but on security discovery, they now revise and said it was for Niger.
OK tell me if it was for Niger, why didn't they use Niger boarder

well you have a good point but considering the history of our security agencies and saboteur or should I say snitches it was suppose to be a stealth mission or probably they were informed but due to the incompetency of our security agencies the Intel wasn’t passed on time it’s not like am trying to side the Americans but our history proceeds us lol

Any shield ops(covert) or even overt, in any sovereign nation must have the cooperation of the agencies mentioned in my second point, for it to succeeds.
Any miscommunication will jeopardize the mission.

like I said considering the history of our security agencies in sabotaging covert operations I don’t think telling them would have been a good idea

That's true. If that's they could have used the airways. Now that's what they finally used to transport the equipments. The could even penetrate from chad instead of Benin rep. Though, all we're talking about is based on assumptions.

You are right bro...

They ganged up and kicked GEJ out because Gej don't obey their rules.....
also because the western bullies hate to see any intelligent leaders in Africa.
they will soon come for the Rwanda guy, kagame.
gaddaffi became a persona non grata because he dreamt of a strong economy Africa united with railroads but obasanjo,a British boy refused to comply.
Nigeria is the shame of mother Africa.
always fighting for colonial interest against African interest.
from congo where Nigeria fought for the interest of Belgium to biafra where Nigeria fought for the British to Liberia where Nigeria fought for Dupont,an American company.
Nigeria army caught a cia agent in sambisa and said he is Lebanese.
till today, they refused to name the man,a cia agent providing Intel and advice to boko haram.
Nigeria will rather serve foreign interest than serve her citizens.
that's why they run to Washington and London during elections.
