Wailers and haters with no knowledge of power systems, 300Mw is no small amount of energy system. Back to the 1st republic, Kainji Dam, which was started by the colonial Masters in 1955 and meant for 1200 MW. , 12 penstock @ 100Mw. each could only be completed in 1969 with a mere 320 MW by Gowon military administration leaving 880Mw untouched as planned by the Colonial Masters and before 1975 one of the four units has gone virile. Recall that was when Gowon said ( Money is not our problem but how to spend it.)

This doesnt look like a power plant. Where are the turbines and other auxiliaries? Where is the cooling tower or the switch yard? This looks more like a yoghurt production factory (like fan) not a power generating plant.

Are you are saying the power stations you mentioned above were started and completed by GEJ? FYI, every single power station you listed above was started under OBJ!

Some were fortunate to have been completed and commissioned by GEJ, but several on that list are still incomplete and haven't added a single MWh to the grid. Was my English grammar difficult to understand? You said Buhari is the only president who hasn't started and finished a power project and I simply asked you to mention examples of such projects started and completed by GEJ; I didnt ask you to list projects started by OBJ and completed by GEJ.

Meanwhile Aba power station is a private investment by Geometric which was started during the OBJ days and was completed in the GEJ days; keyword there is 'PRIVATE'. Till date though, it is yet to be commissioned (for whatever reason). How exactly is this then a project started and completed by GEJ?

Or is it AFAM VI? that power project was started in the days of OBJ and it is owned and operated by Shell. I remember personally visiting the site in 2007 when it was already at an advanced stage. How then did this project which has been in operation since 2008 make your contrived copy and paste list of projects started and completed by GEJ?... You obviously get too excited from the numerous 'likes' you get from our bunch of ignorant lazy Nigerian youths who don't know how to use Google to verify info.

It cost about $1billion to generate 1000Mwatt of electricity when you are generating through the thermal plant, that will translate roughly into $1million per 1Mega watt.

The problem is Nigerians are too poor to afford stable electricity so, we can't fully privatize the industry and the government is too poor to build the infrastructure needed to meet up to the uncontrolled demography explosion.

The solution is in building an integrated gas pipeline across the country that can service small integrated power plant. We need to do away with our centralized power grid, smaller power plants generating 10mw in markets, estate, industrial park, hospitals and other institutions will now be possible through private of community finance.

They (UAE) are building power stations in Nigeria, it should better be green power stations.

He added One Turbine to Olorunsogo to make it Four turbines (Obj already installed three) and use for campaign .......... Fashola don complete two from the six and another two is at commisioning stage already.
