Hello Seniors in the house, please how does one pay Ethiopian Airlines flight fares? My friend has been trying to pay since yesterday but hasn't succeeded till now.
Please we need guidance on how to go about it, thank you.

In order to be a certified engineer in a province should I evaluate my Bsc and Msc base on course to course evaluation ?

Go to their website, choose date and make your booking. A reference code is sent to your email which is valid for 24 hrs. Within the time you can use the GTb mobile app ticketing service to pay. You will have to include your itinerary, ref code and fee in your payment details. A receipt is sent to you which you may send to their Lagos or Abj email address depending on where you're departing from,( Not sure if this is necessary anyway).Either way, after your payment, your e-ticket is sent to your email.

Alot of question in one post lol.
NEBOSH is not popular in Canada. Most employer would require a diploma/degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
I am not in the safety field, hence I have no idea how much the wage is in that industry. I can imagine safety jobs will be very competitive in Calgary. Your experience, resume and interview skills might need to be top notch to land a safety role.

My friend that landed in Edmonton last week is already confused. His eyes started turninoneown after he bought two bottled water at 5.58 CAD,dude converted to naira after making the payment. Long story short sha, dude has bought a water bottle to fill with water from home when going out.

If youre looking to get a safety job in the field, prepare your mind to move to Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray and the likes. You may land in Calgary but just start preparing your mind to go where the safety jobs are. Also NEBOSH is not well recognized here and safety jobs are not usually advertised as other jobs, it's all about being around the field and networking with those who work there. That being said, anything is possible.

Not a Civil Engineer but also a fellow Engineer and it's all the same process. Start your Course by Course Evaluation as soon as you can so it's ready by the time you land and you can proceed with the Certification, however, if you have a lot of working experience say 4-5 years of Solid Experience (You might be asked to take an Exam if your experience is from Nigeria/Africa and you're gunning for Professional Membership). If you have less than 4-5years of experience you will be considered as an EIT (Engineer in Training).

There's not much you can do in Naija before coming than to prepare your mind to hop on all opportunities that comes your way when you land. Brush your interview skills and update your CV and Cover letter writing skills to get past ATS and land you interviews. Be ready to start small until you get what you want. Civil Engineering is doing great in Ontario and BC.. opportunities in Calgary area too, apply to as many as you can, network on LinkedIn like crazy and talk to people as soon as you land.

This is normal, JJC levels happens to all of us just once. Afterwards we know fast food place is not the cheapest spot to buy water or pop. Once he settles in very well and knows his way around, he will start buying his water from the supermarket (better deals there) or continue drinking from tap.

Also once he starts working he will not compare CAD to Naira anytime he spends. Congratulations to your friend.

Your friend purchased water at the wrong place.

In the supermarket, 12 bottles of water can cost $3 to $5. At Costco it can even be way cheaper.

I want to add these to my cargo and I dont want to grind them, I dont know if it will be seized.

The weather suddenly changed of recent. It gets too dry at night and we wake up with uncomfortable sinuses and bleeding nostrils. There is a way I apply the Balm with the humidifier and it gives so much of relief when it saturates the room.
Obviously I would still be needing it till around March next year, so I don't mind December. I assume you aren't a first timer here for you to choose to come in December.
