I don't think that will happen to any of my dogs because they got a large place where they exercise and i barely lock them up when they're grown so far I'm home

Pastern issues are mostly seen in dogs locked up in kennels or owned by breeders because they barely have space to exercise, tiled cages also cause contribute to it but tho my cages are tiled but that's not a issue with my dogs

Puppies are fond of eating and chewing slippers, containers, cloths and anything they find around, i guess to help their teeth get stronger since they're yet to experience the teething stage

So i got about half pound of bone from a butcher in the market for N200 (containing a few meet) told him to cut it for me into 3 large pieces instead of smaller sizes so it he doesn't get to swallow it and might get stuck in the throat when am not close which is dangerous and could probably cause DEATH


perboiled one of it for augusto because cooking it totally would make the meat to be too soft and easy for him to reap it off from the bone and in no time he's done with it and idol alone in the cage again

I've always said it that a dog which will be big must have giant paws. Yours are extremely giant for his age. Make sure you invest on the coat to always make it look shiny. And please don't walk him under the sun because black conducts heat.

Thanks for the warm compliment from you boss, the coat isn't very shiny yet because am still working on his diet. He isn't used to my kinda feeding pattern hence why he's been purging so i need more time to work on him

To an extent. (depending on who approaches her and how you approach her) Though i am not expecting much from a six month dog. She is still a pup, her guard instinct will surely surface with time, cos the parent are ok with that.

Yesterday's dinner for Augusto. I noticed the excess protein content on these food so i used rice as filler and to also dilute it a bit to avoid purging again.

These are;

An egg
A head of fried fish
Dallas canned food
Awara (made from soya)

he's doing well thanks for asking

Got some pork spines for Augusto on Sunday. This spinal cord is made up of 80% bone marrows and 20 meat.

Since Augusto is still a 2months old pup and unable to crush the bone marrows into finished stage in order to swallow. i used cutlass to break them into smaller pieces, boiled and pounded it little by little then stored inside the fridge for mixing his breakfast.

Since spices ain't the best for a dog's system, i boil without adding anything to it, the aroma oozing outta the pot alone assured me he'd love it. I usually combine it with his kibbles as breakfast and he loves the combination, I can tell from the way he finishes the finishes everything within 1-2minutes or so (but he doesn't rush his food, he never does). I make the quantity moderate not too much but nutritious and enticing.

Serving a dog too much food at a time isn't good isn't a good thing, it doesn't make a dog grow more than the person serving moderately but balanced feeding rather i think leaving food in a dog's plate always is a bad habit

As I prepare Augusto's dinner i also prepare mine as well.

the main reason why i prefer mixing, cooking and preparing my boys meal often instead of serving kibbles and canned foods then go my way is because I actually like cooking, it's my hubby

They dine well, I do as well. Can't come and kill myself
