afrodoc2:Klopp acquired higher than the highest points total than all of Fergie's title wins in one season. Let that sink in. Far fetched I know but if Fergie had to face any of last season's Liverpool, Man City 18/19 or 17/18 every year he would have 0 League titles Secondly Ferguson is not surviving losing his best players every blessed season so the premise of Liverpool crashing and burning because of what happened with Dortmund is erroneous. No Klopp team sufficiently armed financially will fail to compete Finally I was not posting a comparison just bringing some perspective PS: I don't agree with any list that claims Fergie is the greatest manager |

Bitter Truth...... OGS ain't gonna be sacked. We should rather hope for Miracles to happen and kinda turn around the woeful Performances of the Team. From my Observations, it seems the Board wanna stick with him, no matter the Results and Team's Position on the Table this Season. They kinda believe he has the undiluted DNA in him, and with Time he's gonna return the Club back to his glorious Day. |

Oasis007:If Liverpool should beat us, we will be 1pt above relegation zone. 1pt. Hopefully we get a draw at least. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 7:28am On Oct 20, 2019 |
I ain't refuting the Fact that OGS is an average Manager, but we have to be cautious with next Appointment - if at all the Board finally do the needful on him. Zizou is finding it hard with Madrid despite spending Fortunes in the Summer TW. When Poch had the Opportunity to spend, he blew Millions of Pounds on Bakayoko 2.0. Not all Managers are good at identifying Players that will perfectly fit into their System. Some are good at managing, squeezing average Players to deliver extraordinarily. Let's wait till Lamps buys Players, I can bet it that, it won't be as the same again. The Team gonna be disorganized, and perhaps it's gonna be his greatest undoing. But if he's allowed to maintain the Players he has now, he's gonna achieve something good, though might take time. |

Victornezzar:It's not in any way funny, and lack of creativity is telling on some Trolls here. The Post was copied from Twitter, and the funniest thing is, Airmark has already posted it. Some Dudes with crayfish-size Brain, won't bother to check the previous Pages, but will jump in with excitement to get few Likes - only to be disappointed. |

A40:Leave them they want us to drag Ferguson. How many clubs were actually competing for the title in Ferg’s era. Ferg’s ManU was what Bayern is in Bundesliga. Ferg was picking players as he wished. With the rise of City and Chelsea matching them in the transfer market baba saw the writing on the wall and japa. |

Oasis007:That’s how Moyes, LVG, Mou had the confidence of the owner and the board. If we lose today and we are 1pt above relegation, you will see. It seems you think they will come out and say they have lost the confidence of the owner or the board? I laugh. Make we sha no lose today. Na my prayer be that. |

Y’all think if MOU had been Manu manager during that era he wouldn’t be winning trophies back to back? Reason Mou kept complaining about how other clubs were spending talk about buying wing backs and defenders at the price of strikers. It wasn’t cos he wasn’t spending as well but he wasn’t the only spender. Ferguson wouldn’t survive in this era they’ll drag him, even with his spending power at the time he still needed Webb’s backing to win his trophies. |

Sometimes you begin to wonder whether some people get sense or not. Saying epl was not competitive under sir Alex. Let's start from when he started trophyless. Then move to when he won the epl back to back to back during that same time Chelsea had seen the light. At least, we now know arsenal have been useless all along. |

kokaneprodigy:Some of the comments I read on this side of the forum really exposes a lot of y'all as people who started watching football in 2008,thinking that Messi and Ronaldo are the only two people to ever kick a round leather. Ferguson won't survive in this era?? Are you saying he won't win trophies in this era or what?? Did you ever watch his teams play?? Do you know how many generation of players that passed under him?? What kind of nonsense do I keep reading as opinions? ![]() |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 8:33am On Oct 20, 2019 |
larride:The seasons Chelsea and City won was when they started matching United in spending. Reason the league/ top 3 was shared by those three teams and Arsenal earned the coveted fourphy. With Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs spending now baba would struggle badly. If I look at ur post closely at a point it was btwn Ferg and Chelsea with the Abrahamovich effect and spending power, City took same route as Chelsea and started appearing up there later and they wrestled the frequency from Ferg. Now extrapolate and tell me how he would have fared with Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool spending now and joining the league of spenders. |

kokaneprodigy:Well, make I no lie the man was good, and to be honest looking at some of the players that won trophies under him - Wes brown, John O'Shea, Cleverly, Anderson - the man Sabi work small. But you are absolutely right, the playing field in those days no level at all. Manyoo were often the highest spenders. They had the best players They had all the referees- it was almost impossible for away teams to get a penalty at old trafford, even if the foul involved firearms, and Manyoo dey unlimited extra time to play if they were losing The competition was more or less absent Now wey all man do tear eye, day come break and everywhere burst, Ferguson japa straight to boardroom |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Nobody: 8:46am On Oct 20, 2019 |
nihilistjnr:i never took his wins away from him bro. My disgust is with peeps thinking he’ll dominate in this era same way he did back then. Checking the winning trend larride dropped up there alone shows his dominance started dropping as soon as Chelse then City started matching his transfer spending and wages even Mikel dumped manyoo for Chelsea ( something that was very unusual before then) and went on to win the league. My point is with Spurs , Arsenal and Liverpool now breaking the banks and the introduction of VAR he wouldn’t dominate like that. He saw the signs and retired with a loud ovation. |
