STEPS TO TRAVEL TO GERMANY (Student Visa route)
For Summer and Winter 2020

1. Decide what you want to study in Germany
2. Find a program/University of your choice
Tip: search daad.de, study-in de, school website etc
3. Get all required documents
4. Certify photocopy of documents at German embassy/high court/notary public
5. Apply to the university through uni-assist or directly by post to school address or school website (depends on school's direction)
6. Receive admission letter(s)
7. i) Open a block account with Fintiba or Deutsche Bank
ii) or get sponsorship letter from a sponsor living in Germany(with 1500euro monthly salary)
iii) or Scholarship
8. Book appointment for VISA interview with your admission letter, Block account opening and passport datapage as instructed on the German Embassy website (**policy may change)
9. Interview proper
10. Waiting period (have a doctor's number on your speed dial grin ) Nah Joke oo.
11. The A.M mail drops...CONGRATS
12. Get travel insurance and book flight ticket... Submit passport for stamping of visa @ embassy and other documents as requested in the A.M mail
13. STUDENT VISUM cool
14. Port to Germany

First of all, i wasnt the one who responded to you with that list of schools. Hadampson did. I doubt i will ever make a list of schools to spoonfeed someone who will be going for studies where a lot of personal research is emphasized. Afterall, the schools i applied to, no one recommended them to me. I sweated my ass on daad and Google to get them.

Secondly, i am taken aback at your sense of entitlement. Someone took the pains to respond to your request with a list that is so detailed that i even had to star it for my future reference, and the least you could do is to make such nasty remarks?

Keep waiting for people to make further list for you, you hear. One of my schools closed their application portal since October 15th. More will close by November. By the time you wake up, Summer applications will be closed. Keep waiting bro.

Perhaps you could apply to OTH Amberg-Weiden for International Business. The course is available for summer and u can apply for the vpd on uni-assist now...

I didn't know the deadline pattern, I ought to have applied for this present summer admission but I can't anymore because application deadline is almost here (for some schools). Even if I decide to work it out, Uni assist themselves need time to process my documents...

Are you saying they start dishing out date in next year or for next year. We shouldn't mix this up... They may give date any day from this month for next year AD...Becos i don't think it's reasonable for the embassy to start giving date in next year wen summer resumption is March/April....

Ordinarily you can't do Msc with HND. But since you have Msc and PGD it may be possible but we can't tell you for sure. So my advice is that you search for schools/courses via daad/Google/Wikipedia, mail the course coordinators and ask them if you are qualified for MSc (attach your HND and PGD certificates).

Sincerely, no one can give u a sure answer. Everyone's guessing and speculating, we can only assume. But I believe once they start dishing out ADs u will know.

Only one embassy can't be curtailing the whole of Nigeria.

In India dem get 5 embassies oh, how dey now expect only one embassy to be servicing the whole of Nigeria that's the most densely populated nation in the world, is beyond me.

I have an idea. I think I can just apply to any school at all this summer. Not that I want admission but just for uni assist to have my documents.

Do just want Uniassist to have your documents or you need a school to apply to? I think you should want the latter.

Coz, what if you eventually see a school you are interested in for Summer or Winter and they dont use Uniassist for their application? That means you would have wasted the money you paid for Courier service to Uniassist.

Also, Uniassist will not evaluate your documents, even if you are ready to pay the 75euros, unless you have a school you want your documents evaluated for.

Put the horse before the cart, bro. Channel your energy towards getting a course/school first. You still have time to do so now.
