How can a whole senator be this myopic. Assuming all SW states voted for Tinubu and the VP did not contest and Tinubu gets all 20 million votes, you cannot win the presidency because you won 100% of SW. SW is only 6 states.

zoning that was agreed is to rotate each zone ...one south one north

Twist is all u want ...north knows ,Nigeria knows if south west run zoning is dead

There are two schools of political thought in Yorubaland.

1. Awo class
2. Tinubu class.

Tinubu himself is a product of Awo class of political thought, and with touch of modernity has churned out new products of political leadership.

All the current State Governors in SW are using his template. Add Kwara State Governor. Out of all them so far Gov Abdulrazaq of Kwara leads performance, followed by Governor Sanwo Olu of Lagos.

All the past Governors of SW used Tinubu template except Mimiko who used the Awo template.

In Buhari Administration no less than 10 Executives - VP, Ministers and DGs are in the Tinubu class.

How do you hope to nominate anyone from SW outside the Tinubu cycle of influence?

Tinubu does not need to be in Presidency, his template will be used to run the Presidency.

To us El Rufai is mediocre and a very immature politician. He does not respect diversity. He wants all Kaduna to be muslim or at least have Islam as state religion. He wants all indigeneous Chiefdoms to be reclassified as Emirates. This lack of sensitivity to diversity endears him to Ibo and they view him as a hero.

Its no surprise! Ibo has never tolerated diversity in its culture. Osu discrimination...they fail to ackowledge their muslims....girls do not have right of inheritance to their father's estate....they sack each other from civil service for being drom different state.....they denied Bianca right of eligibility to run for Anambra State Senatorial because she is indigene of Enugu....

To us Yorubas we love diversity. So people like El Rufai are seen by us as dangerous and irreponsible.

Many commercial activities in Lagos are operated as monopolies. The State and LG has power to enforce anti-trust Laws and break up the monopoly of Northerners in the lucrative keke and okada operations. If the State went to that extreme okada and keke will be regulated. For every 1000 licenses issued 50% ownership and operation must be SW, the remaining 50% will be shared at 10% per zone. Put the new SW Security Corps to manage the service and its enforcement.

Free education for SW indigenes only. Non-SW indigenes are to pay for secondary and higher learning.

Change tax brackets - SW indigenes to file for yearly tax refunds. Non-indigenes exempted.

There are many policies that could be implemented to penalize lack of allegiance to SW.

Like Ogunlewe said, we Yorubas are the leadership of Nigeria.

Many of you are really kids in ur political analysis, did guys see the other part of south, SS & SE they don't talks any how like the SW do in regards to 2023.

Mr Ogunleye is an elder and I expect him to speak like one, based on the electoral act, that guild our elections there is a number of vote a candidate is expected to have in the six geopolitical zones of the country, before he/she can be declared the win of that election, this is y no region can win election without the other.

Point of correction, Yoruba's never made Jonathan president, the six geopolitical zones did (Nigerians).

Now to the game of 2023, I have said it before and am saying it again, Yoruba's cannever produce Nigeria president come 2023. The president will likely come from the two major political party's which we have for now, PDP or APC. There is a gentle man agreement in both political party's, though not constitutional, that after 8 years of the south it should go the north, this was the gentle man arrangement, of PDP in 1998 but, after Obasanjo 8years of the south, the north only have 2years+ of Yara'dua, before Jonathan came onboard, so far the 16years of PDP the south have it 13years+, y the north only has it for 2years+. This is the reason PDP have already conclude of zoning the party ticket to the north in 2023 with a south Eastern vice president. Now this same agreement exist in APC, though some of the northerner politicians in APC are trying to go against it, let assume it stands and the south west who have being saying all manner of things, in regard to tribal politics finally got the ticket, the battle will na be between SW and the North, which the SS & SE who are suppose to stand by them SW are already for PDP, na tell me how SW will produce the president? Except they want to produce president of Oduduwa republican, this y many political analyst are saying that 2023 will be a very interesting year in Nigeria political history.

But they said power is not given on the platter of gold. Think about that.
