I remembered everything again and I feel depressed now.
I was such a fool for allowing someone treat me bad for long

It all happened in 2017 I met someone on this space. We met and he was walking with and aid, despite that he was just working as a bet9ja agent and he was a fresh graduate. I overlooked all and believed in whatever the future holds, we moved on. Few months into the relationship, he was acting insecure and toxic to me. I thought it was just him being scared, since it was a new relationship.

One year later, i was now rooted to his parents. As days increased he became more than toxic. I left countless times, but he keeps saying he won't do it again and I came back.

After a year later he decided to start up something with the little he had on him. I brought my suggestion since I wasn't convinced with his own idea but he insulted me. Few months into the business, he fell sick, business was struggling. He was now on admission in a hospital since he loosed blood. Nobody was staying in the shop then, I quit work to stay in his shop. Nobody was staying with him in the hospital. I worked for him during the day and slept at the hospital during the night. I loosed my money taking care of the shop and him then. When he was discharged he came to his shop and the "thank you" he said to me was slapping me and calling me a bad luck to his shop. At this point, I was counting my days with him. To think all this year's I've being his punching bag. When he came back i started dressing his wound with the little firs aid kits each time he couldn't see the doctor. After that month I left for Lagos and stopped communicating with him. Despite his calls and please this time i ended it for real.

I can't forget how I became a mother to someone only to get an abuse as my reward. I was abused and the trauma can't get away from me. I wish a day will come,I will forget everything and move on.
