Hello and good evening to everyone. I am new to this thread. I graduated from the university in 2017 completed my nysc in 2018. Right now i have intension to study abroad, Germany preferably.. the fund is ready.

Right now, i don't know where to start from, what do i need to do now to kick off my application!

Search for tuition free schools with English programs on DAAD first. Check the school requirements, get your documents certified if necessary

Pls, can you expand a bit on the bolded? Thought I read somewhere where it's said that one's spouse can join during active studies (bachelor or master) as long as one meets the condition for hosting a family.
Pls, kindly shed more light on this.
Thank you

She can join u if both of u can provide good some of substance... That's u should have access to rough 5m to spend for her .this money is beside the 4m u would have already deposited for ur student blocked account.then if u have a child, u would pay more than 5million when they are joining u.this is because ur wife is not applying as a student so she won't have access to cheap insurance policy. She would have to take a comprehensive policy. There would be no free transport to some areas that students have access to for her. You need money to rent a bigger apartment for the family... All this aside, she can work limitless hours to support u.this is the only beauty. If u can afford 10m plus then she can go with u. If not apply for a PhD that has sponsorship so u could go with her. Or let her stay behind for just two years and visit u within the two years visa period before she finally join u later when u are through with ur studies. Sleep over the options and start ur application immediately before the deadlines... Good luck.

Edit: if u can't get a sponsored PhD, take the masters. She can be visiting within the two years period until u get ground financially, u fit then carry her go finally. Two years no de long ooo. grin

It’s not needed for admission, just put your other documents and submit. It’s only needed when you want to enroll after you’ve gotten admission

IN ADDITION TO MY PREVIOUS POST

Information is Vital here and so is everywhere. What you need/looking for is always somewhere, you just need to connect with the right person/use the right keyword for searching.

Some of our 9ja brothers here tend to hide information from their fellow 9jas even though it doesn't stop them from achieving their aim. So i tend to roll with more white people, in most cases, if you don't talk to them, they won't talk to you, so i always shoot first. A Brazilian friend of mine once sent me a job link when i told her i was looking for a part time job, it was a job related to my field and this company was looking for working students to work with some kinda data, no German needed. You will never find the job using google except you visit their website. Unfortunately, i didn't get the job but i was glad i applied as the interview taught me some new lessons on an international level. So don't feel too proud to ask for help/information, you never know the kind of information that fellow is holding.

AFTER RESUMPTION for the first semester and registration of courses, you might wanna check the next semester module, talk to students that did the courses in the previous semester to know how far, This is important so you wont go and larimo one professor Albert Einstein especially when the course is not really related to your Bachelor degree. A German student once told me not to choose a particular professor for a course project supervisor, i asked other fellows and they said the same.

If you have a knack for programming and you are proficient in Python, Java and JavaScript, you don't know what God has done for you.

Also, if you studied something related to Media in Nigeria like Mass Comm, you might wanna check Masters in Media and Communication Science in TU Ilmenau, the application is online (no need to send hard copy docs) and the admission is valid for 2 years but you get to pay application processing fees of 25 euros. For online application for Geoscience courses, you might wanna check University of Bremen. There is masters in Geodetic Engineering at University of Bonn, the program offers 3 specializations, but i think its only for winter application but the application is online.

Lastly, i have said this before and i will say it again, new applicants applying to uni assist (Masters), when sending your documents, look for courses in TU Berlin and University of Potsdam and apply there too, both universities are under uni assist but you don't need to pay processing fees as both universities have already covered the cost for their master programs.
If you are going to state of Brandenburg particularly University of Potsdam, try and get your Residence permit in Berlin, you get 2 to 3 years, although accommodation might be a problem in Berlin. In Potsdam, you only get 1 year RP, for the second year, they might tell to fund another 9k euros to renew your RP. So make your research well. Your school ID card (either TU Berlin or Uni Potsdam) gives you free transportation that covers for Berlin-Brandenburg including all Trains and local buses., so no issue with Transportation cost.

NOTE: if you graduated from Houdegbe North American University Benin Republic, don't bother applying to Germany as your school is not recognized here.

What's up bro, i graduated from a university in Benin republic (Esep le berger), but i want to apply for another B.sc.
Can i still apply or i should not bother too.

Most schools in Benin Republic are not recognised in Germany, however check anabin (Google it) and see if your school may be recognised. If your school is not recognised then and you still want to study in Germany, then register in a Nigerian University (like Noun) finish 100lvl then you can use the 100lvl transcript to apply for BSc in Germany.

When sending via post , your name should be boldly written on the envelope and also your visa application number, you can also add your passport number and also when sending via email , the subject of the mail should be in this format "sponsorship letter, Name, passport number, visa application number".

I really don't agree with the bolded, my vo said all mails as regarding your applications, the number under the barcode on your visa receipt should be quoted as subject. For emphasis she wrote the number out on a paper and handed it to me. She said the content of the mail should follow after attaching whatever content. That they will understand.

Good day everyone, u guys are doing a great job here, kudos to everyone. I am a newbe here but I have gone through some pages and I have some questions to ask. My hubby applied to a school and he is waiting for AL, please at what point will he include me in the visa process because we intend leaving together, the plan is that he will be schooling and I will be working there. Is it compulsory I learn the German langauge? Will he do BA for the both of us at the same time? will it be possible for us to leave the same time. Please your replies will be appreciated thanks.

Thanks for the reply, i have checked the Anabin database and found out that my school wasn't there, I'm already taking a course at Noun and preparing for the exam next month, also I'm in A2 level of German, and also i want to go through studentkolleg and i just heard of something called Ausbildung.

This isn't very clear. Did she say only the number under the barcode and nothing else?
Also when she says the content should follow the attachment, how would that work? Because attachments are usually separate from contents and do not follow each other. Or is she saying all attachments should be inline?

Fascinating

This means a lot of schools are going to be embracing online applications

Only the number under the barcode sir as the subject of the mail. Then the body of the mail should read whatever you want. Dear Sir/Ma bla bla, further details and all ( she didn't say how the body of the mail should be like though) but then the body of the mail should explain the purpose of what/why you are sending the mail. Please find attached a copy of so so will suffice for the attachments.
