I just woke up with this thoughts and question; How do you start and sustain an online relationship without having a face to face contact?

I have seen alot of people propose relationships and marriages online, But the truth is, I wonder how one can say yes to someone he or she haven't met in life. To me that is the most difficult and unsure decision to make. A relationship is a physical thing that needs constant communication to thrive, Not just online but a face to face communication. I find it difficult to believe any online relationship is real,
To me it is an illusion until I meet the person physically.There is a realism to face to face meeting that Internet and telephone conversations lacks.
I believe some online relationships are trials cos some go into such relationships not just with one person. But two or more in a bid to try their luck incase one doesn't work out.

I am not against online relationships but i have this skepticism about it.
How can I say "I love you" to someone I haven't met in person?
How do I believe you love me too without meeting me?
I believe people who are in a relationship should meet and see if they have the same flow and attractions.
You can't really get to know that man or woman online cos there are things that can only be said face to face.
You can meet online but meeting face to face is paramount in sustaining a good relationship.

So don't rejoice yet if you are in an online relationship, you might be one among others!

It all depends on the individuals involved. And what triggered the feelings too. Yes.. You can really fall in love with someone even without seeing them in person... But whether that relationship can really be real depends on the "reason for your affection" - is it facially? Physique? Is it the communication? Is it the attitude?

In other words.. Did you fall in love with a beautiful mind or a beautiful body.
