Please all, I couldn't find my DSSC application print out form. It dawned on me just yesterday evening.
I had planned to give my guarantor to fill up his section only to realize that the application form is missing. Only the Guantors form which is a PDF on its own is on my phone storage. But the DSSC application form is missing. Please, I've searched everywhere even in my mail box but couldn't find it.
Right now I'm not myself. I'm beginning to wonder if I had printed it out in the first place or if I had simply failed to save the form during the download.
Please, house is they any way I can request a new application form from the site admin or any other means. I've my DSSC application number as well as my guarantors form as proof. I'm open to your recommendations please.

What I talked about is the issue of army buying combat helicopters now with respect to our budget, just watch and see those pilots will just be flying VIPs(Ogas them) for functions.
If they had any intention to incorporate them into the fight against insurgents, they'll locate their base in the northeast not Jaji.
I don't see the status quo changing any soon till the political class deem it fit to properly fund the military.

Tactical Air Command HQ is located in Makurdi, does that mean air force can't deploy F7 to any location as possible? The home of Alfa Jets is in Kainji, Niger State, does that mean Alfa Jet can't be deployed to any location as possible?

In fact air force deployed their platforms to Yola, it is from Yola they usually fly sorties to attack BH in Bornu. F7 is capable of flying sorties from Makurdi though.

Do you know Executive Air Lift Group of the Nigerian Air Force is dedicated for air lifting government VIPs of which army top brass are supposed to be entitled? Even the British Army airlift VIPs with their helicopters, there is nothing wrong with that. Building army hanger in Jaji is very okay. If they want to use them for combat, they will deploy them close to where they will fly sorties. Armoured Corps HQ is located in Jos, that does not mean battle tanks can't be deployed to any location within Nigeria.

If really the army is getting combat helicopters for close air support then most likely their base will be in the theatre of operations helicopters are not Jets that can fly at Mach 1 speed and above, helos fly subsonic thus limiting their response time.
Airforce tactical air command Makurdi primarily trains pilots in tactical air war fare in combat helicopters. The main NAF FOBs for the northeast theatre of operations are in Katsina and Maiduguri from where they launch assaults covering the north east. If they use for example Jaji as FOB do you think they'll respond in time to salvage any situation when infantry guys call for air support?
A typical combat helicopter have a cruise speed of about 150 knots, with that in mind any troop on ground waiting for immediate air support from an FOB(Jaji) 600km away from the fronts is on a very long thing. Even when he it gets to the battle it won't stay for long in air because of fuelling which have being burned travelling that far, that's why FOBs are tactically located near the axis of operations.
At best na ogas them go they cruise those helicopters for functions or at best for troops insertion and evacuation just like the police helicopters. Police even dey use their helicopters they play coded runs( transporting civilians for a fee).

You didn't get my point. FOBs are not permanent base. FOBs cease to exist the moment peace is permanently restored.

Jaji will be their home. While deployment are made to locations where they are needed as circumstances demand.

The air force FOBs and deployment you cited are NOT permanent base. If crises is over, they will return home to their permanent base. That's exactly what the Jaji hangar represent in this case. A permanent base for army air corps

This thing is common sense, I don't need to be writing long grammar to explain my point. NE is NOT the only place where army aircraft is needed. You are quoting helicopter speed for me? Lol....

Platforms are usually deployed to locations where they are needed. They will always return home to their permanent base if crisis is over. The distance they chose to locate temporary base, FOBs or whatever they want to call it will always be dependent on parameters such as; speed of the machine, range of the machine and endurance of the machine. For example F7 can reach Abuja within 10 minutes after taking off from Makurdi runway. But F7 can never fly from Makurdi to Accra, it does not have such range and endurance, it will require an FOB in Benin Republic or Badagry for it to successfully fly sorties to Accra an return on one load of fuel. Does that mean Badagry or Benin Republic where they may decide to use as FOB is now a permanent base? hell NO!
