Nitrigriti, sincerely, you and I reason differently.

And I wouldn't want to ruin this peaceful friendship with this matter. Let's let this issue rest. We may never find a common ground

How's work sir?

You will never bro.
It is just like moving around a circle; no end in sight.

What do you know?
Greatness hides in plain sight

I don't need to engage you. You have zilch experience in the transport biz.

Ask folks in d Fct, how political and biz power brokers move around.

you actually think that in this nigeria of crazy kidnaps and horror story traffic, high net worth individuals will be traveling in uber where drivers may say i am not going on trip? do you know what the word material means? the 2500 for the trip is not material to an exec. anyway, your ignorance can only be cured when you actually work in a blue chip company - then you will understand some of these things without anyone having to explain them to you over and over.

Work is fine jare. Don't mind me, I can be obstinate like that.

If you are free one of these days, just PM me, we can hook up. Office is around Adekunle, Yaba. I always hang out at E-Center after work so I don't have to drive in traffic.

At least both of us will have a chance to eat suya and drink beer and laugh at my foolishness.

No, Izzou. The driver should not damage his car because of the customer.

He should take his car off the platform — Uber or Taxify; since he is not okay with the services the platform is providing for him.

So long as he keeps his car on the platform, he is obligated to provide service according to the terms and conditions of the platform.

#StrictlyBusiness #NoSentiments

People are just so quick to talk about taking ones car off the platform. Do you guys think uber will succeed without the drivers? Jeez.

Bro, why don't you have a single thread for these cars instead of creating threads for each? It can be easier for prospective buyers to see the varieties and choose. My humble opinion though (might be bad for the business)

From nitigriti's point of cancellation. Once I get to pick up and see a riders comes out of another Uber car, first is to ask for the destination before the person even settles down. The driver must have rejected the trip for a reason.

Imagine if more than five drivers where to cancel, the guy go blow ac tire onto being professional. This people just throw discretion out of the window.

I Yimu you right back. Maybe you are confusing a manager with an exec. An exec with an official car, official driver, police escort will take an uber? Why?

Na so oga at the top go come down from 2019 range rover to 2003 corolla? With no safety? A person who has a paid for driver? Anyway sha, there are top guys and top guys is all I will say.

People like you will be confusing banking officers with executives. I'm sure you will tell me next that a teller is also a banker.
Telling you that I have taken two rides with police escorts, guess you won't believe me.
One was an expat while the other a doc.
Both rides were on the island.

I strongly advice you not to use a dual sim fone, if u must use it make sure only one sim is installed in it. Reason being that while on a trip and a call enters it disrupts the network and money get lost in that process. So play safe and use just one sim, preferably the one u bearly receives calls on.

it is not ok if a rider engages you via uber, and then tries to initiate an offline trip
if the rider already has your contact from a previous trip, then the rider can engage you, outside of ubers platform

it is not ok if i walk into the honda place and tell the mechanic working on my vehicle, lets take this outside honda
it is not ok if the mechanic working on my vehicle tells me - lets take this outside honda
if i have collected the mechanics contact and have an issue in the future, i can call him and engage him directly outside of the honda place

people cannot even think of risk. take hustler mind a jump into a transaction with a person whose capability, capacity and character are not verified.

Make no mistake about it bro, some top execs use uber. Moved quite a number of them around during my uber phase a few years ago. . . .Abi what do you call an executive board member of a bank with operations strewn over all the west African countries, that's a top dog if I ever saw one

Omg. Onircus! What's this na? I've picked an exec! Yes and Executive of a blue chip company with over 300 staff only in Lagos. The man sat in the front seat and his secretary (Male) was asked to sit at the back.
Baba was just making official calls and getting jobs done as we drove about. Even when the map took me to a different place, the man didn't complain, he just said be observant and careful... These things are treacherous!

Bros.. No be only you dey work for blue chip company, no be only you sabi Big men, no be only you sabi executives. Don't argue this, I'll tell you a thing. On Saturday the CEO of Pinehurst Luxuries and Homes was in my car even when the car was misfiring he stayed with me till I managed to get him to his destination (Card Trip).

The guy is right if you think otherwise, then give it to someone else on rentals and see if he meets up.

That's the only way. Or you test run it you self.

They react without thinking and that's why uber has been able to take them for a stupid ride. The surfeit of drivers & cars is the only reason why uber could slash fares so badly and treat Nigerian drivers like garbage

Leave these people alone.
Imagine the audacity "Driver shouldn't cancel any ride, or they should leave the platform"
Why don't they say "Uber shouldn't make non cancellation mandatory, or they should provide the cars"
Why not Uber provide the cars if they want to mandate non cancellation? Who bears these costs of repair, Uber or riders?

Any driver is free to cancel any trip. If a driver decided to ask for destination, it is his decision as no one share in his cost of repairs.
peooke that can't do what they preach

Drivers are entitled to protect their investments (Cars)

by their mien and posit you can decipher them to be slave drivers.heartless bunch of peep that can't do what they preach.hypocrites.
