Good day.
Please there is too much jargon here that I am still trying to understand.
Please a quick question to the pros, if I invest 200k in stanbic mutual fund for 3 months, what's the predicted earning at the current rates?
You do realise that there are people paid to answer your questions? They're called customer service. Why not reach out and read their FAQs
Re: Mutual Funds by BENARI: 5:36pm On Oct 24, 2019
Gentlemen, any one who has applied for redemption from StanbicIbtc MMF yesterday or today?

I did yesterday morning, and usually by evening latest my account is credited, but up till this moment, over 36 hours after, I'm yet to see a thing.
Meanwhile yesterday afternoon I got the usual notification you get prior to being credited.

Worse part is that I called customer service this morning, and they promised I was going to be credited, but till now nothing.

Anyone with similar or different experience in the past 48hours.

This is very unlike Stanbic, thus my little anxiety.

......20% per month...No let that your 200k miss road because of greed. Even Treasury Bill's will not give you 20%. My cousin started with same 200k this year and she has almost 15k as interest. Your savings account in the bank in a year cannot grow up to 5k in year with the different crazy bank charges.

Obinnau:
nne eh. While I agree that this is a great way to secure the future with funds that you ain't having any designs on, I don't think this is for me. My 200k is my home and abroad and I need it to grow, say 20% per month. Sadly only few avenues are available for that kind of growth. 8 wonder how I will keep 200k and after 3 months I get 6k on it. I would rather leave it in the savings account where it was. Cost of stress to move funds to anew trading platform sef is equivalent to the 6k

Hello guys,

Someone mentioned that I can start the Stanbic MMF Investment without owning a Stanbic Account

So I’m asking, let’s say I wanna withdraw my money from the Stanbic MMF account, where do I withdraw it to?

Please reply

During stanbic mmf account opening, u will be required to fill in a redemption account number i.e an account where ur withdrawals will be paid into.

Bros, if you even see an Authorised and Regulated Investment Platform that can give you 5% of the Invested Capital per month, please avail me of the opportunity. I haven't seen a legitimate one that can guarantee u of 5% interest per month with minimum risk.
I know of one that pays 4% per month.

I believe you have been using your mobile app to transfer funds to other accounts. If yes, all you have to do is to transfer whatever amount you intend to invest from your account to FirstTrustee/Stanbic IBTC Money Market Fund account with number 9202476223 quoting your own Stanbic IBTC MMF account number in the column for transaction details. Be sure to do this in the morning before 12:00pm any business/working day you intend to.

Caveat: It is necessary to at least visit the bank branch once and be sure of their account details before you start transacting from afar.

Also I've been seeing KYC form. From my little search it means 'know your customer' ? Please how do I get this form? I already downloaded the stanbic MMF form from their website.

Also I'll be needing the FBN own any help on that?

Cc @Emmasoft cc @enque cc everyone

I don't run FBN mmf.

When I opened my MMF accounts, I got staff contacts who assisted me with the registration process, hence I didn't have to go to the branch. I think we have them here too n they can assist u.

Yes, KYC means know your customer

U need to specify the investment coy u r interested in tho. Stanbic, fbn investmentOne etc.

Hope this helps

You can get all the forms you want online or send a mail to their customer care and they will send it to you. You fill, scan and send it back.
For your KYC, their are some documents like ID card, Phcn bill, signature, passport, etc, you need to scan and upload. Usually the app will tell you what to submit.
