Since you don't understand, let me try to help you.

No driver or rider should use Uber or Taxify's stringent working conditions as an excuse to cheat any of the platforms.

If you get a trip to a place you don't like, cancel and move on. You would be a thief if you now told the rider "let's do this trip offline." Same, if the rider requests you and says, "

Bro are you in anyway related to LIE Mohammed? the way u are contradicting your earlier stand is surprising cry cry

I Yimu you right back. Maybe you are confusing a manager with an exec. An exec with an official car, official driver, police escort will take an uber? Why?

Na so oga at the top go come down from 2019 range rover to 2003 corolla? With no safety? A person who has a paid for driver? Anyway sha, there are top guys and top guys is all I will say.

People like you will be confusing banking officers with executives. I'm sure you will tell me next that a teller is also a banker.

You have no clue bro ... #nooffense

It is pointless arguing when octopus is not in your shoes, so he won't know where it pains the most.
He keeps hammering "Nigerian mentality", yet a little search on the web will show him that drivers behave same all over. E.g radautoworks shared that a driver cancelled on her just because she was black.
So explaining to whoever that hasn't driven his personal car, takes care of the repairs from the peanut he gets as returns, is just like forcing an elephant through a pin.
I'll just let this one slide ok kiss , but try it next time and I'll give it back to you hot hot cool cool

You can't cut Uber or Bolt out of a deal it doesn't have in the first place. Let's say you request an Uber to Enugu. You, I and Uber know Lagos to Enugu trip is not possible on the app. This is an opportunity the platform is bringing for the driver. Rider knows he or she can link up with a driver through the platform. Rider wants to go to Enugu. The platform cannot deliver that service. Rider and driver negotiate a fee. Uber and Bolt tells rider and driver that the trip is at each party's risk despite the platform bringing both parties together. There is nothing fraudulent there.
personally, I don't see some offline as fraudulent. Some riders fancy a particular driver, takes his number and calls him for business later. That's a goal my friend. Just use the "go offline button" after all, uber says you should work at thy own time cool

Drivers are partners and not employee... they have every right to cancel/reject a trip that does not go down well with them...

The rider is an example of the fraudulent riders that have been spoken about.
I am sure he does that when ever he encounters traffic on his route which then affect his fares.

See ehn, some riders are deliberately unfortunate , last month, some guy requested Uber to pick a babe from unilag to Olowora on 1.7x surge, normally I don’t even go to Olowora, na because of the surge I go. Immediately I dropped the babe at his house and ended trip, I just got notified, gate review 4K + went down to 2500- I’m likeWTF- I messaged UBER straight, they reversed the adjustment and I was just wondering - did the idiot not know there was a surge before requesting, I resisted to urge to text him and tell him he was a grade A fraud.

Good morning people,

Please I am on a verge of going into this business here in Abuja.

However, I am new in town. From enquiry and all I have read here, with the business being saturated, I really need you guys' advise.

Tired of my 9-5job (pays less than 80k) which I want to quit and I have a Honda civic 2010 model at my disposal for HP.

Please guys, I urgently need your raw advise

People are just so quick to talk about taking ones car off the platform. Do you guys think uber will succeed without the drivers? Jeez.

Unfortunately, drivers don’t understand how much power they have. I don’t think 3 to 5 days of not driving would kill any driver, but 3 to 5 days of zero income and Uber would be forced to acquiesce to drivers’ requests.

You're right. It irks me seeing people posting as if Uber if doing drivers favour. If Uber or bolt leaves today, there are many more willing platforms that are ready to take over. Uber needs drivers more.

I think you may have to get off the spectranet network as its signal isn't strong enough in certain places. I once picked a rider who was using spectranet and we both had our Google Maps on but her map lost signal at least 5 times on that trip of about an hour. I use airtel though an I've barely had any issues with it in about 5 months on the job in Lagos

Change to mtn (as its coverage is wide and most reliable).

Good afternoon All
The service of a registered Uber/Taxify driver is needed for a Toyota Camry 05.

The ideal person should reside on the mainland, around Yaba, Oshodi and mafoluku axis.

restart your phone, check weda ur data is running, I use mtn cos of mast and data coverage.

Set ur starting point as" ur location"
Then put your address, for instance, if its a popular place, e.g The Place ( a restaurant close to Maryland). Just input it n it will lead you there.

Google map is the ultimate guide.

Open your eyes and watch out for traffic signs o. Esp. one Ways. Cos some roads r not yet updated on google.

More importantly ask for help from your rider.

Some riders are willingly to direct you. So don't be afraid to ask for help.

Also, if u can afford it, use a different phone for the google maps so DT dy don't affect your fares on deir shitty app.
