send me a pm. E hailing in Abj is not like Lagos. In fact, I can tell you, Uber is clutching to the straws over there and Bolt is surviving also by slashing fares further in Abj.

Do you plan to use it as a side gig or the main thing? Or is that the reason why you are going to Abuja.

But not to worry as long as you have a sound corolla with AC. You would get offlines. It might take a few months though to build your list of clientele.

And a great avenue to connect. Like I said earlier , forget d riders that pose in the owners corner n control you here n there.

The real riders that are willingly to help or assist you in anyway are down to earth

So never overlook anyone by dressing or speech. The predominant tribe over there are willingly to help you and their elites are down to earth.

I will give you an example.

I picked a woman and her daughter around
Wuse zone 3 former military pensions board in the morning.

The route:
Drop the daughter @ a school in wuse 2 besides Ap plaza n from there take here to here office in same Wuse2.

We got talking, n d was music playing on the radio. She kind of liked d music.
I told her DT music is good for the body cos its therapeutic n esp cos music hits the 'soul' WC is where all energies com from.

I dropped her @ d office same wuse2 n she gave me 3k. I'm not sure we spent up to 20mins ( around 4km) for everything. Ideally, the fare shouldn't be more than #600 ( in all).

But like I said earlier, the riders that will give you money won't seem or look lyk it.

This is purely off line.

numerous examples abound.

pls can I get ur number?i will like to meet with u....or u can kindly chat me up on zero hate one 40821736.....cheers

My last 2 riders r just funny set of people, my rating have dropped so drastically, but its all good. The drag with the first was passing the toll gate when it was opened freely to all motorist, so she insist not to pay for toll gate and I made her understand, I'm meant to take what the app display. The second one went to mart to get some stuff, from dia to 2 different banks, then to get shawarma, as we r driving on she saw a local food vendor and ask me if I can cross over to get food for her... I turned to her in funny manner and ask what? She said food, I crack a smile and politely tell her no, I don't do such. I drive on and she saw another place and ask if I can help her get food nah, other drivers do help out, I'm wicked, dis dat, I'm going to get a star... It is well, this too shall pass

Mr draey.

Please answer these questions.

Is your work a govt job or private.?

Are you familiar with the routes in Abuja? I'm not asking weda you know the roads, google maps will help you out?

I am asking weda you know where
things happen per time as regards rider movement/influx.

e.g if you are in Gwarinpa around 6-7pm ,then you should try n move out n drive back to wuse 2, cos movement @ DT tym is inward bound n not outward anymore.

Also on Fridays, people move out of Abj, cos sat n sun, no govt activity. So where the airport hussle is brewing , you nid to know.

Or try n move to 3rd avenue, though that MIT b a tad risky cos 3rd n 1st avenue r always on lockdown wt traffic in d evenings
3rd avenue esp around H medix.

Cos HP is a ticking time bomb DT you HV to defuse every week.

To do transport biz on HP , u HV to hit the ground running. and if you are newbie, you can NEVER hit the ground running (making the required funds to service your HP weekly.)

So don't b in a haste to quit your job.

Look at the pros and cons, do you have a principal that is considerate n might overlook one week or two weeks default.

Cos YES, you are going to default, you need a principal that is considerate and patient.

in these game, there are a lot of variables you won't see except you start.

Answer all these, then we pick up from there.

Boss, don't be dissuaded some riders are like that. Since you didn't go, though it cost you.

I salute your resoluteness. Your mere act has implanted an impression that not all drivers can take any kind of shitty errands.

If she encounters 5 or more drivers that display the same kind of gentle but firm refusal to degrade the partner job on e-hailing. Then it wud b d standard.

Sometimes I wonder, wat is wrong with some riders, you are not handicapped/physically challenged neither are you an invalid, yet you refuse to run your own errands.

I will write uber and Bolt a message on the need to address their riders in mails and texts on the purpose why the platform was created : ease of movement from one location to another in Lagos.

That is beyond customer service, the other day, a Lady too asks one dude here to buy her a pack of protection.

I don't think uber and bolt regularly sensitize (in mails n msgs) their riders on inappropriate behaviour towards the driver.

All I see them doing is sending messages n bonus and certain discounts to bring in more revenue.

There is a certain level of professional distance that has to b maintained, we r meeting for the first time n you start sending me to buy you food.

Bolt and Uber needs to up their game on inappropriate rider behaviour, not rating this time.

And to think drivers will suffer bad rating, not because they are unprofessional or err, but because they refuse to run cheap errands for riders, which isn't the purpose of ehailing.

I've been following d chat here since yesterday and its kind of funny, I don't get worked up for no reason, she only try her luck but hit the rock, fact is so many drivers take nonsense and forget dia purpose, no one is doing anyone favour here, from the riders, d company and drivers, we all need each other to function, so disrespecting only shows the level of exposure and a point to where such rider is coming from, it not just about riders, but who we r.

Its a private job-bank to be precise

To a large extent yes I can navigate abuja routes, not all though.

I reside at Asokoro and as for rider influx/movement, not so much but I believe I can get help from colleagues/ex-colleagues who are into the business

As regard the HP I can come up with down payment that can cover a 2months or 3

Truth is, the HP is what I am a bit concerned about, although the agreement will be for a monthly return

Pipe nicely done. Uber and bolt need to tell this riders, drivers are not slaves. I can only do such errand is if the person is handicapped, pregnant or an elderly person to some extent.
I am still hoping to see the rider that would tell me such, maybe cos my physique is intimidating I don't even know.

Boss I never said she was wrong, this is a case of logics and ignorance either from me or her part... If she have a case, she should forward it to Bolt and let them do the needful, I didn't even check to know if the app display toll gate added, all I told her is I'm going to take displayed fee... Need you know (I may b wrong), bolt do deduct 20 percentage from total fees including toll gate, Dats 60 naira, which account do you want to to bring that from?

I've seen both fair and unfair part of this hustle, I don't use saka or have the intention of cheating anyone, like I once said, I won't place myself at the receiving end to please riders (or all riders).

The driver became worried because the lady was taken time. Chaii, e just be like make I slap am
