Boss, don't be dissuaded some riders are like that. Since you didn't go, though it cost you.

I salute your resoluteness. Your mere act has implanted an impression that not all drivers can take any kind of shitty errands.

If she encounters 5 or more drivers that display the same kind of gentle but firm refusal to degrade the partner job on e-hailing. Then it wud b d standard.

Sometimes I wonder, wat is wrong with some riders, you are not handicapped/physically challenged neither are you an invalid, yet you refuse to run your own errands.

I will write uber and Bolt a message on the need to address their riders in mails and texts on the purpose why the platform was created : ease of movement from one location to another in Lagos.

That is beyond customer service, the other day, a Lady too asks one dude here to buy her a pack of protection.

I don't think uber and bolt regularly sensitize (in mails n msgs) their riders on inappropriate behaviour towards the driver.

All I see them doing is sending messages n bonus and certain discounts to bring in more revenue.

There is a certain level of professional distance that has to b maintained, we r meeting for the first time n you start sending me to buy you food.

Bolt and Uber needs to up their game on inappropriate rider behaviour, not rating this time.

You have said it all.

My last 2 riders r just funny set of people, my rating have dropped so drastically, but its all good. The drag with the first was passing the toll gate when it was opened freely to all motorist, so she insist not to pay for toll gate and I made her understand, I'm meant to take what the app display. The second one went to mart to get some stuff, from dia to 2 different banks, then to get shawarma, as we r driving on she saw a local food vendor and ask me if I can cross over to get food for her... I turned to her in funny manner and ask what? She said food, I crack a smile and politely tell her no, I don't do such. I drive on and she saw another place and ask if I can help her get food nah, other drivers do help out, I'm wicked, dis dat, I'm going to get a star... It is well, this too shall pass

But why are people like this? The request isn't even the issue, the arrogance is. To think some drivers actually run errands for her...smh

The first rider is right. You are not meant to collect the toll you didn't pay for.
I'm happy you didn't disappoint me with the second rider. No to condom purchase when you are not the guy using it with her. No to yam purchase when you have two maids. No to food purchase when you won't even taste the food.

#11200 - 300 = 10900.

10900/100 = 109.

109*80 = 8720.

8720 plus 300 toll = #9,020.

You solve maths in a complex way bro.

Simply put - multiply 10900 by 0.2 (20% = 20/100) to get 2180

Deduct 2180 from 10900 to get 8720

Add 300 to 8720 to get 9020

About 6 months ago, I picked TOBI , the one from big brother (kohinor) to Lekki phase one. He sat in front , and just on call with his friend (a lady like that). I’ve picked Down to EArth top executives too. Sometimes issues happen and executives don’t fly.

Plus I prefer them to all this girls that use their one week savings on UBER/bolt. Lmao

Please the grand fathers in the house, is 2003 Toyota Prius a good deal for Ehailing? I discovered it has a very big advantage over Corolla at about 42/41/41 mpg against 28/36/31 mpg (city/highway/combine).

My concern is the cost of maintenance and availability of parts and reliable kazeem.

Yes Tino is accepted and its very good with the job. I was with a guy this week in unilag and he uses Tino. He told me it's very fuel efficient and its maintenance is low once you stick to the recommended oil.
Go for it, Go for rest of mind.

Oh you are about to acquire.

It is very good with fuel consumption and a bit strong.
The advantage it has over corolla is the ground clearance (it is high like other hatchbacks).
The low side is the electrical and AC. But if one is lucky with one with less wahala sha. Hopefully you get a very good AC tech & good electrical tech too.

The parts are not so expensive. I haven't changed my shocks for about two years since I acquired the car.

Aside corolla, you can do Civic, KIA, Hyundai or Benz (like someone here advised recently about Benz)

Which means 80% is your own.

May be this will help;

11200 - 300 = 10900. (300 being toll fee and 10900 being the real total earning)
10900 * 80% or 10900 * 0.8 = 8720 (remember 80% is yours while 20% is uber's)

So 8720 is your own earning minus toll fee after uber's 20% share deduction.

8720 + 300 = 9020. (9020 in total, that's plus toll fee, will be displayed on your dashboard)
