maynation i have read the whatsap chats u uploaded.all i can say is be careful in the way you would invite ppl to your place and especially nairaland.i have seen some of your posts in the past and u hardly get into online fights and drama.u seem like a nice person so be careful in the way u relate with some guys one on one off nairaland oo.some ladies here have posted ugly encounters with some dudes here in the past so u suppose use that one get experience and u said u not even a new nairalander.be careful cos nigeria get as e be right now.u can invite a guy over and he go case ur joint and later guys with tools might burgle ur house(God forbid) .so be careful.even me wey be man i will be wary in the way i invite someone over who i just met on the internet and i know nothing about.

@Maynation, I'll only say this one time and expect that you catch it just like other sane ladies on the forum. What played out has been playing out on this forum for years. I understand some of you guys think it is okay to meet people on here, especially the opposite sex but then, there are those whose lives revolve around lies and deceit. He clearly wanted you and wanted to use you.

Unfortunately, he was so good to predict you'd offer him a sanctuary in your apartment. He could have messed your life, either by using using date rape drugs/sedation or implicated you in something you know nothing of.

You clearly risked your life for a total stranger just because you wanted to be good.

Looking Thru the evidence inside the chats prove the intellectual capacity of the girl

1) Presumptively the lady knew it is gonna come to this end. Matter coming out in the court of public opinion like this.
2) Presumptively and brilliantly, the lady is always quick to cut off any amorous or lewd discussion. And this prove that if matter get worse like this she will be off the hook.
3) This girl should be working with the CIA or SSS or DSS. She had the premonition that the guy was lying. How could u get a Fed contact and no provision for ur stay to Negotiate high worth contractual sum of money. However only decided to accomodate the scam to see how it will play out. And she immediately recognize the shaddy character of the guy.

Sometimes ago I was held in a very terrible hold up while travelling to Ibadan from Lagos(My actual destination was Akure but decided to pass the night in Ibadan)

I got to Berger at around 10:30p.m and decided I wouldn't travel to Ibadan again. So, I decided to get an hotel around Mowe, pass the night there and leave for Akure very early. I boarded a bus to Mowe and along the way I started a discussion with the guy sitting next to me, we chatted all the way down and I discovered he once lived in Ondo, he is an Akoko man like myself.

He persuaded me not to go to an hotel and that I can just pass the night at his place, I was hesitant but I gave in. He has a wonderful family the wife was warm in receiving me, we gisted for hours, I ate and slept and continued my journey the following day.

I wish all Nigerians can be like this, cos I would have done the same, but people like Jay is the reason why some people would rather not be kind but be SAFE...
