I have nothing against it .. If you going to offer offline trips , know how to be discreet about it .. And if your car is clean, shape and you present yourself in a very proffossional manner .. It is the client that will even ask you if you can do offline trip for them in the future ...

This is just the magic of offline trips

Request tip for another time: trust me there is always request in igando . People coming from Badagry / Ikotun prefer to order from igando for easy ride. And most times rides are going out of the suburb to like IKEJA and island. I know cos I still school in Lasu, and to get a trip.... I just zoom to Enyo filling station... never down more than 30minutes.

Maybe I’m just lucky sha..

Everywhere get request. U just got to know where to stay!

Sure, I agree with you, not just ready for new adventure wit 3 to trips to go.

One drunk punk (with a bottle of Sprite mixed with some substance) took me from one estate off admiralty (NITEL) to abijo back to estate, at the end of the trip after delaying me with some oloshos he came and drop 1k, asked me to call him later for the balance. The bastard claimed he's davido's boy. Police (FSARS) even block us at jakande because of how he was doing with the oloshos inside the car.

When I told him I will not call him that he'll pay in his next trip, the guy come para, get liver come push me as I was peeing for gutter, tell me say if I no commot for area him dog go eat my carcass. After peeing about to enter my car he held my shirt and asked me to repeat what I said and I told him that Uber will pay me for the trip, while he refund Uber when paying for his next trip.

the bastard slap my back, I ask both Angel and demon for strength, as he was holding my shirt pushing me, with all my strength I gave him uppercut, the guy sumersulted and enter the gutter, the oloshos shouted in an unknown language, I zoom off, report to uber and they pay me with interest.

The most annoying thing is that he wasn't the one that booked the trip, the person that booked the trip switched off his phone when I tried reaching him.

This work needs some kinda madness!

It is well boss, I'll appeal to you still build tolerance with dis people, just have d end view in mind, which is getting home free from issues... My eyes saw things last week and at a point I pulse to think thro all, but find solace in the fact that I've done more then 35 trips, so 35 heads can't b the same, each of them with different baggage and emotions. One thing I observe again, girls r wonderfully made, like they hate questions and all is in bid to avoid problems.

E.g driver; ma, do you have a preferred route?
Rider: Oga use your map, is ur map not working?
Try to use the map route..... Rider: Oga where r u going? So you don't know so and so place? That's how most trouble starts

Form your point of argument, Toyota corolla isn't the problem but the abusive owners.

Now the questions are;

Which one will perform longer and better with same abusive owners?
Which one will perform longer and better with same good maintenance
?

I'm not a fan of any, just to learn.

With the right amount of abuse .. Any car can break down

They should better read and learn, in as much as I don't trouble you, you've no right to trouble me, if you try it na 3MB I'll end your trip, treat your fvckup and kick you out of my car. Uber have authorise us to abort any idiotic trip.

I see one lowlife punk downgrading drivers because he feels he's working with a heavenly downstream or whatever.
I personally work with an upstream - E & P (Automation Engineer, studied and certified in Brazil ), works offshore (2 weeks in/out). I resigned from a reputable military service to further my studies. Instead of staying idle I decide to romance uber, it's fun and stressful out there, it resets my brain as well.

Driving with uber have expose me to both angels and demons, it really shaped my life in so many ways, I've learned a lot.

Drivers deserves to be respected, it's not easy.

On Friday I picked one nasty lady that was insulting and commanding me to drive like James Bond, I ignored her and she tapped my shoulder from behind and said "mr. Man I'm talking to you", I didn't say anything and she began ranting, I ignored her. According to airtel THAT THING DEY PAIN.

When we get to Blenco she mannerlessly asked me to stop for her to shop, and I did.
She get inside, I followed her, we shopped at the end of the shopping I purposely stood behind her, my items were 10x more than what she picked and she asked me who I am, I humbly showed her my IDs when we entered the car, that's when sudden humility overshadowed her she now switched to the front seat, I ended the trip there, gave her a free ride to gulf at lakowe, without collecting a kobo from her for the entire ride.
When she asked me why I offer her a free ride, I told her UBER DRIVERS AREN'T POOR.

She called around 11pm, I didn't pick her call, she dropped a message [just checking on you]

For their information, I use iPad for uber, fuuuck CEOs

Thanks for sharing your experience, especially the bold portion.
Many of us need to learn to be law abiding and respectful, no matter who we are dealing with. Instead of blaming everything on leadership, when the leaders simply reflect who we are.
Cheers.

You're hereby awarded the driver of the year!!!!!

You really humbled that lady.

I don't think why some people think someone who probably owns that car is poor because he drives uber.

It is the pride that makes some riders act irresponsibly to drivers and they start ranting when the drivers return the favour.
