Which last 4 matches re u talking about? Iwobi was one of our best players at the last afcon, against Ukraine he was immense.

He has been among the few shining lights in Everton this season n had a good game against westham. I doubt if u watch Everton games at all.

How many goals hv eriksen scored for spurs this season? Does that mk him a bad player?

All of us here know Iwobi not to be prolific in front of goal but he has qualities that made everton spend 30m on him. His link up play, vision and work rate is top notch.

I don't need him to score goals. At least an assist every two matches isn't a bad idea. Iwobi is inconsistent and unreliable. The reason I am hammering on this is because he seems to be our only AM at the moment and thus when he has his bad days, it affects the whole team. This isn't good for the Super Eagles.

Honestly, I am with you on Saka. The good thing is the NFF are already on his case and I hope we yield positive news in the end. The lad has all it takes to give everyone including Chukwueze a battle for our wing roles. He is fast, skillful, direct, left footed, sleek... I really like Saka and I do hope we bag him. He has made me forget a bit about Lookman sef. Lol...

And yeah Iwobi over Eze for me but I believe it won't be bad having Eze among the options we can call off the bench in the team. The lad was average today but he is really a fine talent.

He does his job as a 10 well, which is to create chances and carry the ball to your forward players as quick as possible. He might not be a fancy ball hugging kind of player but he's very efficient. Modric that is a balloon d'Or winner, how many assists does he have ? But modric is rated because he does the simple things efficiently and transition the attacks very well

Alex Iwobi is miles better than Eze. Eze is talented but don't worth the hype. Saka even deserves the hype Eze is getting here.

With eze's lack of work rate I doubt any top flight coach in top leagues in Europe will tolerate that from him.

Football tactics nowadays have evolved to an extend that jj type of players will find it hard to strives at this present times.

Eze needs alot to learn inorder to make it in the epl if he makes the leap soon if not em go chop bench tire.

As it stands now I will prefer an ejaria who will bring versatility and work rate to a team than dazzling Eze.

Lol... That's a maybe. Also, Tomori said we never approached him when in fact we did.

Truth is throughout today, Dutch Twitter space have been livid over losing out on Dest. Several wish him an "L" with USA. I think Holland were so confident he would feature for them and were taking their time until he debuted in the UCL and had a super game. Holland is not happy to lose out on their nation's number 1 Club team's Top RB option.

but from the interview he said the Dutch NT didn't approach him maybe if they did he would have chosen them

I am also of the idea to have him in the current super eagles set up soon.

I believe playing and training with top guns in the epl and in international football help rub off the rough edges in his game but sincerely he need to do more to displace Iwobi in the number 10 position.

Saka is one hell of a talent but I think the reason he is not mentioned frequently here is because of the talents we already have in the flanks. The boy is good enough to fight for a place in the team with our current wingers.

Do you have an idea of how many chances Iwobi created for Arsenal forwards last season that was wasted?

Bring up his stats since his debut in the gwg so that we can see how many assist and goals he has so far.

they tried to get Zaha, but Palace wouldn't allow it. Some Arsenal fans are still bitter about the Zaha move that tanked, Pepe was the alternative

Arsenal na mugu nah, they wanted to pay 40 million for zaha and they ended up paying more than that for pepe

I am sure palace would have even accepted a bid lesser than that pepe fee

Top footballing nations in the world do not shy away from incorporating kids of immigrants in their teams anymore.

The same Dutch fa is still vexed till date why they lost ziyech to morroco.

Imagine Italy cap tying Moise Keane who wasn't even a regular at Juventus last season just to wade off the Ivorians.

Germany even had to invite Felix agu to their u21 team when he hasn't done anything tangible in the German 2nd tier just because Rohr penciled him down for the Ukraine friendly.

France with their abundance in talent recently capped geundozi and ikone in their u21 and Snr team just to wade off morroco and Congo few weeks ago.

Their aim is to have a large pool of talented youngstars who can be called up in the nearest future.

It's only in 9ja that we see it as begging and desperation which is caused by sentiments and pride wey we no get

Lets be a little objective and reasonable here, guys. Iwobi has been nothing but a consistent flop back to back with little flash in the pan. This is a boy who is saddled with the responsibility of orchestrating the Eagles attack ,yet he can barely hold a ball for more than 1 second just because he lacks the stamina, the skill and confidence to man up and face his fears. We have continued to play that misery of an attacking midfielder just because we are short in supply and now you guys want to bring the school boy dada from Queen Park Ranhers to come and continue the mockery. This is just too painful.
If you want to play Iwobi do so because you have no better option because of your incompetence in finding a decent attacking midfielder in a country of over 170 million people. You guys have been crawling all over the place begging, crying and wailing to convince a crappy little nigga from England to come play for you. Its getting to the point where 70% of our senior team will be dominated by little weak niggaz from England...these intruders will adversely affect the style of our play. You guys are not seeing the big picture.
Very soon super eagles will start playing like bunch of init sissies from England....wake up guys. Why must we beg for everything, black men! And those boys will end up marrying white bitches and give their wealth to the Europeans. None of them will marry a Nigerian woman, none. They are inferiors!!

Lol @the bolded. Nwakali the lubricant. Oke aha na egbu nwa nkita

Overseas –based professional players, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Orji Okonkwo have joined the camp of the Nigeria U23 team, Olympic Eagles preparing for next month's U23 Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Egypt.

Earlier, midfield lubricator Kelechi Nwakali, who captained the U17 National Team to World Cup glory in Chile four years ago, had rejoined the squad that he helped secure victories over Libya and Sudan in the qualifiers to earn Nigeria a berth at the finals in Egypt.

Bologna winger Orji Okonkwo joined the rest of the team on Monday as the overseas –based professionals continued to stream into camp ahead of this week's departure to Egypt.

His arrival has given Head Coach lmama Amapakabo and his assistants more attacking options ahead of the tournament.

The Olympic Eagles are expected to the leave shores of the country on Thursday for the tournament which holds 8th – 22nd November in Cairo, with Nigeria playing in Group B which also has Cote d'Ivoire, Zambia and South Africa.

Another overseas –based professional in camp is Tom Dele-Bashiru, who featured for the U20 National Team, Flying Eagles, at the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Poland in the summer.

The 20 -year old midfielder plies his trade with English Premier League side Watford FC, and was born in the city of Manchester, England to Nigerian parents.

He scored Nigeria's third goal as the Flying Eagles obliterated Qatar 4-0 in their opening game of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland

These boys are not patriotic to Nigeria, they are nothing but traitors who capitalize on oir desperation to milk opportunities out of us and run off with their white women. Look at Iwobi he was giving money to white women and putting them on the pedestal. Same with Tammy etc. They are not loyal to Nigeria.

My friend I think you are being very inconsiderate. Against Ukraine, our midfield flopped immediately Iwobi was substituted. During the African Nations Cup, Iwobi controlled our midfield very well. Even in his club, in the penultimate game played at Everton, he did provide assists. I do not know what else you want my man. Yes, he is not a world class player but he continues to pull his weight no matter where he goes. This is evidence by him becoming a first team player in Everton after 2 games on transfer from Arsenal.
