So she is also the Queen of Australia and Canada?? That means Australia and Canada are still under British rule

They are independent but not a republic
She would has still be the queen of nigeria if we had not become a republic in 1963

Interesting.

It will get to Archie one day and suddenly the British empire will be ruled by a black. I'm sure Meghan is already calculating stuff like I am.

God bless the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth has been busy especially during the world war.

She served her country like every young girl at that time.

Had it been it was in Africa, she wouldn't have been allowed to drive a truck but in her case she went out and help when it matters most.

Leadership like hers was learned by experience.

Abi she would’ve been shipped off to UK or US , away from the trouble
She rose to the action and history holds it to her

Despite all these powers, I have never seen anybody lye down to greet her.

Africans should stop that daft attitude of lying down to greet kings in the name of culture.

No human is God.
Mind your cultureless, respectless and courtesyless background.

People do bow to the queen too.

Shut up your mouth Asslicker you embraced the oyinbo culture not to bow down and Greet thier monarch but you criticize your very own culture Nonsense. stop Greeting your elders or tell your uncles and aunts how far when you see them because the oyinbos don't give respect to their elders.

If all this benefits are given to a African monarch the west would have called us undeveloped or look for one thing to criticize about it and people like you will still support them rubbish.

They courtesy by bowing(men) and women( on bended knee) to greet her. Even the prime minister must genuflect for the queen. Here in Nigeria,no President bows for any king or the religious leaders like the Sultan .

HRH Prince Charles Arthur Philip George, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Earl of Rothesay, and should he predecease her Majesty, his eldest son HRH Prince William, Duke of Cambridge is next in line, and after him, his son Prince George, and then Prince Louis, and then Princess Charlotte.

Prince Harry comes after Princess Charlotte in the line of succession.

It is a crime to insult the Queen. Less Majeste. A woman was once put in legal hit soup for referring to Elizabeth Regina as Mrs. So, insulters beware.

Not exactly.

You can insult the Queen actually.and legally, at least since 2010...when the law was abolished.

And even when the law was in force, the last time anyone was actually prosecuted under the law was in 1715.

Another thread should be created for the procedures that take place at the death of the Queen.

Good idea....but here is this in the meantime

On the other hand, is Church of England not the same as Anglican Church/Communion which we have here?

The C of E is part of the Anglican Communion, which is in practice run by the Archbishop of Canterbury. (I think the queen is sorta the ceremonial head...but as I am not an anglican, I don't really know).

Harry and Meghan won't even smell that throne. The queen's first son takes over when she's gone, if he departs, his own first son Prince William's takes over, if that one too goes, his son Prince George takes over. Everything is already structured.
