vaxx2:Lol, go through your link carefully. While Vietnam was talking about trade, Nigeria wasn't interested. Read slowly this time Meaning that the government has made up its mind and Our VP hasn't said nothing. Falling price for rice in India and Thailand is a good testimony, Vietnam now. Ghana and ECOWAS is too small. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/26/reuters-america-asia-rice-indian-prices-slip-on-weak-african-demand-strong-baht-hurts-thai-exports.html https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/energy-commodities/asia-rice-waning-demand-prompts-indian-thai-exporters-to-lower-prices This is Nigeria's soft power that we've been downplaying and you guys including those Asians have been looking down on, oga na Oga now, 201 million no be ordinary 28 million we dey pity before. Compete with Lagos, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda. We are not your mates. |

ManirBK:Why should they sell elsewhere when naija is in high demand for it. Who should you blame, those smart businessmen or the failure of governance in niaja neglecting agriculture. Have you ever heard weed been imported?! Even though it is a ban product. This is because it is in excess. Yet, rice can't be cultivated with government support. It is a shame! |

Area4Area:You ask for a link and that is it. the first agreement is removal of visa policy between diplomat , now trade discussion is the next way forward . you don't play football with your enemy. and osinbanjo been more educated than buhari is far more exposed on regional trade . from football then to rice , even cloth and footwear will follow. just relax |

whatisthetruth: When will you take a stand against oil importation? You have oil, yet you have to take it outside Nigeria to be refined and then buy back the refined products. When will you take a stand against weapon importation? Begging USA and Russia up and down. When will you take a stand against importation of phones and laptops? Everyone just talking about rice.If our past leaders laid a good foundation for this county, this is not what we should be talking about now. Nigeria should have grown pass this level. E.g. The issue of Minimum wage, by now this administration should be talking about increasing it from either N50,000 to N80,000 not N18,000 to N30,000. Kudos to Buhari, learn to Appreciate... |
