suyamasta:Some work are not work, security is for the police and police alone. Poster try and get a lawyer and stop paying those unreceipted fees. Commit the matter to God in prayer and if your father is really innocent it will be well. |

I cant bliv the comments am reading. Very typical. He needs help, the trial is fast approaching and see all what you all could say. But if something tragic comes up, you all would act sympathetic and start declaring justice. I spit on all ignorant comments on this topic. @OP, I wish I culd b of help but I have no means to render such favour. I pray that God grant you and your family abundant grace, favour and wisdom inorder for this unfortunate incident to come to a quick end. |

/ You should be talking to the politician who is sponsoring Imo Rescue Network. This is what happens when one sticks out his neck for a politician--he will be used and dumped. Oh..and by the way, it is "petition" and not "partition". \ |

Since the case is in court you have secure his bail through the court. There may be little or nothing anyone can do to secure his release until his is granted bail by the court or discharge and acquitted. It is unfortunate we have slow paced judicial process but patience and a good lawyer is what u need. If he is innocent of the charges against him then u need not worry. |

You said that the case is already in court, there's nothing you can do now except to pray for speedy prosecution for him (accelerated hearing). It is understandable why your dad cannot be bailed now. Murder is not a bailable offence because the punishment is capital punishment. For the prosecution (Department of Public Prosecutions) to have filed an information in the court against your dad, it means that they must have likely established a prima facie evidence of murder against him, except of course someone took bribe. If you are very sure that your dad is innocent, I would advise you to write a formal letter to the Attorney General of the Federation, copying the Attorney General of your state and the Chief Justice of the Federation to review the instant casefile and the legal advice submitted to the Police by the Director of Public Prosecutions of your State Ministry of Justice. Also go to Human Rights Organisations and state your case. They can help you in the area of breach of fundamental human rights. Also go to the media. Let Newspapers publish the story stating how your dad was framed up. You can copy bloggers to publicise it online too. Public opinion is very strong. (This is not entirely right as the case is already in court but I have seen where it is done before). Most importantly, you should go to the Legal Aid Council located at the Federal Secretariat in your state so that they can defend your dad free of charge (pro bono). If your dad is really innocent and you do everything I stated above, trust me it won't be long before justice will prevail. God help you out. NB: you are to pay N5k for Legal consultation fee to me anytime you can afford it but if you cannot you may forget about it. |

fnep2smooth:get the National Human rights commission for the next line of action or pay a good lawyer who can handle his case well. At the moment he has legal advantage over the police. He can sue the police for breaching his fundamental human rights and with a good lawyer, he can be paid a very huge sum if they cannot substantiate that accusation of murder. |
