Even the ITA is now scarce like pipeborne water.

Abi, Saskatchewan is killing the scores. They've issued over 4k nominations between September and now and those NOI recipients are in line for ITAs, and that's Sask alone, let alone adding other provinces' NOI learners. So, it's a tall order for EE people with 460s, let alone those with less.

Although, the way draws flow between now and December will determine if it will drop rapidly because, NOI issued doesn't mean they will all be qualified for ITA, I think.

I think the best thing is to join the people getting PNP.

So, I used the search option in NL and searched for instances where people used SIWES to claim points. The search results allayed my fears and boosted my morale. By including my SIWES experience, my CRS points would be 478. Considering the way the draw is going, I'm left with no choice but to include it.
Now, I have a question. My offer letter for my SIWES states that my job title is simply Intern . However, I worked with the Information management team of my company and developed Microsoft Office Sharepoint websites. This was literally my major duty there.

What is the NOC that best fits this position/job duty? I'm thinking of using 2175 Web designers and developers but my only concern is that my job title does not specifically describe my job duties. I've read previous posts/threads where people were advised to use the NOC that best describes their job duties and I also understand that the reference letter from my employer would explicitly state my duties. So, I would like to ask what you think about this concern of mine. Thanks

The job title doesn't matter. Even your offer letter doesn't matter. I never submitted mine cause it listed some job duties i "was expected" to do that didn't tally at all with my noc. The only thing that matters with job experience proof is that it is on a letter headed paper, signed by a manager or h.r, lists certain information like start and end date, but most importantly that it has your job duties which must tally (not word for word) with your chosen NOC.

So morale of the story is that job experience proof is very much within your control.

Back to back draw will Favour even those in the 450s range. We keep praying.
450 used to be hot cake last year and early this year, I don’t know what spiked the score so sudden.
It was 440 last year
This year should at least stay 450

This Hugh spike is desperation on people's part to be above certain score and as such everyone starts adding extra certificates, experiences et al just to meet up. Forgetting its ripple effect overtime.

The more we keep adding al these, the more the score keeps going up and up....

Or they are simply trying to make it harder to get ITA

I stand to be corrected though

Ielts
It’s ielts victory!!
Prior to sitting for ielts, I had read stories about how people got 6.5 in writing and that scared me to death. How I wish I entered the exam hall an ignorant fellow. First sitting, i got all the necessary help from my colleagues at work who had aced this exam earlier. I had prepped like my life depended on it since I so much disliked essay writing back in school. For the record I work 8-8 six days a week but I had to attack this monster with every fiber of my being. I always tried to hurriedly rush home and bury my head deep into my books till midnight. Honestly I don’t think there is any youtube listening and Cambridge practice test I haven’t taken while religiously reading sample essays on ieltsmentor page. I learnt ankasa! (twi) . @Chicyclass came through for me sending me some MOD writing book and I read the book page by page! I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I mention I remember the sentences like a child remembers his favorite rhyme. I sat for the exam for the first time in July
Results : LRSW 9 7.5 7.5 6.5
Hmmm 6.5 in writing, as expected cos, I didn’t even read over my essay and I was so much gripped with fear so ... I remarked but it unfortunately returned the same. Instances like these make me wish I knew the future. I’d have saved myself the time, energy and most importantly my funds. Being someone who never threw in the towel so quickly, I registered for the next sitting in 28th September. Time to face this monster again head- on!

I saw posts about MOD being “more generous “ with their 7 than BC but I’m Ghanaian and we only have BC so I wasn’t spoilt with choices like my fellow Nigerians. Just have to return to my “dearest” BC, who haven’t in this case been so generous to its beloved.Spoke to @yemblaze who added me to an ielts WhatsApp group and @stencil also sent me ielt materials . Thank you so much ladies. I’m forever grateful. This time, I had to strategize. I decided to learn extensively for the writing so I started with synonyms of common ielts topics from a youtube page which was suggested by someone here. I also contacted @blissnenye to help me with the writing and she made sure I wrote an essay everyday. “An essay a day keeps ielts failure away” lol. Like I mentioned earlier, this was almost like a punishment being meted out actually it was since I hated writing essays. I’d rather prefer reading those online but this lady, “my punisher” ensured I wrote and insisted on it. She was really bent on seeing me do something I hated. I realised It wasn’t just about the money for her but she really had my interest at heart..She tutored me for a week and told me I was good to go. Thank you my Madam @blissnenye.
So I Sat for the next sitting on 28th September and this time I wasn’t even looking forward to a better results COs since I had mixed feelings about the listening test. Results day finally came and I had LRS 9 9 7.5 and writing 6.5. Oo God! Not again! Hmmmm of course it would be writing, this devil keeps tearing its ugly head everywhere! What did I expect? I prepared so well so why 6.5 again.? What at all are they looking for?. I put in a request for remarking that same day results were released without taking my test report form. In mind, they should keep it until they gave me my 7. I prayed fervently for a positive outcome.
Then on the fateful day of 31/10/2019 , I received a mail. Behold the change I was waiting for had reflected!!! From 6.5 to 7. I was giddy with excitement. Sleep and I had conveniently become enemies that night . if this is how excited it feels to get the required ielts scores then I have not the least of ideas how you all react when you receive PPR mail.
Hope to jump, no dive into the pool and then wait for my ITA in the next draw.

Here's it:

First, any time a general draw is missed for a long period, a lot of people have time to join the pool, So, if we have plenty high scoring people, Most ITA recipients will be higher scores and the last score determines the draw score, which will also be high.

Secondly, PNP: Theres been a lot of it lately and lots of people are high scoring -- 600pts to 100+, then the remainder that will be picked will not be from the higher scoring EE profiles.

That's all. What we need is for these guys to be flushed out quickly.

Also, I've seen some cases of ITA wastages; people declining ITAs and reentering the pool. They deny other people all the time. Why enter the pool when you aren't ready to apply?

Finally, I think the highest it can go is 480+ from regular EE activities. That's PNP being the highest recipients and higher EE candidates being supplements.

Good day Seniors,
Please I am currently trying to submit my EE profile and I need some clarifications. I have BSc, HND and OND but getting my Bsc transcript had been an issue due to some software problem with the school transcript processing, hence, I decided to just do the OND and HND to enter the pool while I raise a Webform later when the BSC is ready.

1) Now, while filling the education part I noticed their is a dropdown for level of education with options that include a) 2yrs prog in Univeristy, college or other institution and b) 3 or more year program in university , college or other institution. Bearing in mind to claim point for 2 or more certificate, one must be at least three yr. Which one do I pick for my HND

2) My NOC in my current job can fall within 2133 and 2241 however 2133 requires a university degree while 2241 requires just HND, considering the fact that I won't be claiming point for the Bsc ( at least when I would be entering the pool) even though I possess it. Which NOC should I go for

3) Since I already notify WES to remove my BSc evaluation and conclude the HND and OND ( intend to do upgrade the evaluation when the school are through with their wahala), is it necessary to include the BSC in my profile at this moment and just signify that I am not evaluating it?

Thanks

Thank you for your answer. In a situation where the HR does not provide reference letters for interns, what can I do? My former supervisor is willing to provide a reference letter for me but without the company's letterhead because only the HR can provide that. Should I go ahead and ask him to provide his reference while I provide LOE stating why we couldn't use the company's letterhead. Also, I don't think I'll be able to get pay stubs or bank statements showing that I was paid because the account is dormant.

Edited: Will the addition of my offer letter be enough to validate this experience?

Congratulations sis. I remember telling you you were good. You had put in so much work already before contacting me. Little wonder your English and sentence construction was excellent as the only thing you needed was a guide on the correct structure your essay should have. I am happy to be a part of this deserved success. Sitting @478 now, you are damn sure of an ITA in the next draw.
Am glad it ended in praise for you. BC cannot come and carry your shine abeg
