I sent my transcript and that was all.

I thought we are meant to send the photocopies of our certificates alongside the transcripts. Or do you mean you sent just your notification/statement of results alongside your transcripts without certificates to WES?

I sent you a PM. I would like to be coached.

Congratulations sis. I remember telling you you were good. You had put in so much work already before contacting me. Little wonder your English and sentence construction was excellent as the only thing you needed was a guide on the correct structure your essay should have. I am happy to be a part of this deserved success. Sitting @478 now, you are damn sure of an ITA in the next draw.
Am glad it ended in praise for you. BC cannot come and carry your shine abeg

Hello all, please i humbly need your kind advise on my canada journey.
Currently in the EE pool with a score of 351 excluding hubby's score as he has not written the ielts exam and his credential evaluation is yet to arrive, even with all that, i wonder how much point he will be able to add.
I tried Sask sINP but had to back out since i studied communication and had been practicing banking for 11years and was told education must match profession.
Trying to apply to Manitoba now with a friend ready to sponsor, i already filled the EOI but my score on their grid is 425, kindly advise

Submitting an express entry profile before ECA is ready will be seen as misrepresentation. Kindly wait for WES to complete assessment. Same with ielts.
rahman137:
Good day Seniors,
Please I am currently trying to submit my EE profile and I need some clarifications. I have BSc, HND and OND but getting my Bsc transcript had been an issue due to some software problem with the school transcript processing, hence, I decided to just do the OND and HND to enter the pool while I raise a Webform later when the BSC is ready.

1) Now, while filling the education part I noticed their is a dropdown for level of education with options that include a) 2yrs prog in Univeristy, college or other institution and b) 3 or more year program in university , college or other institution. Bearing in mind to claim point for 2 or more certificate, one must be at least three yr. Which one do I pick for my HND

2) My NOC in my current job can fall within 2133 and 2241 however 2133 requires a university degree while 2241 requires just HND, considering the fact that I won't be claiming point for the Bsc ( at least when I would be entering the pool) even though I possess it. Which NOC should I go for

3) Since I already notify WES to remove my BSc evaluation and conclude the HND and OND ( intend to do upgrade the evaluation when the school are through with their wahala), is it necessary to include the BSC in my profile at this moment and just signify that I am not evaluating it?

Thanks

How much is my school's transcript.
How much to send Parcel to Canada when you can google all courier companies and call them from your bed to inquire.

Hello,
Please i would like to know if anyone has used "success letter" as statement of result for Wes verification.
My school gives the letter to Masters students before convocation next year when certificates will be ready.

Good Evening people.
I've gotten my ITA and I'm putting together my documents for upload.

1. I have about 3 - 4 LOE's for different things (job, salary increase, POF etc). Should I upload each LOE with its accompanying documents or upload all LOE's in the optional upload space.

2. I put in 200k extra from my FBN to my access to complete the funds. Since the account bears my name, I'm thinking the VO would know I have an account with another bank so I'm considering adding a letter of non-indebtedness from that bank as well. Is that necessary?

3. For those who got a salary increase within the last 6 months, did you do an LOE for it? I attached my offer letter but I feel like I'm doing information overload.

4. My period started the day of medicals (don't ask) so there was small blood in my urine. The doctor and lab people noted it in my results and stated that its definitely the menstruation but it worries me. Did anyone have this experience? I'm so scared they will kick my application to Accra.

Thank you

Thank you for your answer. In a situation where the HR does not provide reference letters for interns, what can I do? My former supervisor is willing to provide a reference letter for me but without the company's letterhead because only the HR can provide that. Should I go ahead and ask him to provide his reference while I provide LOE stating why we couldn't use the company's letterhead. Also, I don't think I'll be able to get pay stubs or bank statements showing that I was paid because the account is dormant.

Edited: Will the addition of my offer letter be enough to validate this experience?

In this situation, then yes an offer letter would be a useful supporting document. Yes in cases where the company won't provide reference, a supervisor can do so on a non-letterheaded paper. Most people like to get these notarized. If you can add his business card, that would help as well. If the account is dormant. Reviving it would be advisable. Anything that helps should be attempted.

Read the thread. The experiences are fresh and the changed one like WES not requiring WAEC was updated. If you read the thread serially you will see the old and the new.

We know peculiar issues and questions when it's dropped. What changed about the cost of ECA, IELTS and application fee that cannot be found on google? Don't excuse intellectual laziness abeg.

I understand it's annoying to get the same questions but most serious have researched and scoured the internet for information before coming here. I don't think it will be bad if after searching through the forum and not finding the required information, the person states it here and more experienced people copy and paste the link, if they know precisely where such information is. The truth is that the Nairaland search isn't very effective sometimes. Thanks for your patience.

Ielts
It’s ielts victory!!
Prior to sitting for ielts, I had read stories about how people got 6.5 in writing and that scared me to death. How I wish I entered the exam hall an ignorant fellow. First sitting, i got all the necessary help from my colleagues at work who had aced this exam earlier. I had prepped like my life depended on it since I so much disliked essay writing back in school. For the record I work 8-8 six days a week but I had to attack this monster with every fiber of my being. I always tried to hurriedly rush home and bury my head deep into my books till midnight. Honestly I don’t think there is any youtube listening and Cambridge practice test I haven’t taken while religiously reading sample essays on ieltsmentor page. I learnt ankasa! (twi) . @Chicyclass came through for me sending me some MOD writing book and I read the book page by page! I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I mention I remember the sentences like a child remembers his favorite rhyme. I sat for the exam for the first time in July
Results : LRSW 9 7.5 7.5 6.5
Hmmm 6.5 in writing, as expected cos, I didn’t even read over my essay and I was so much gripped with fear so ... I remarked but it unfortunately returned the same. Instances like these make me wish I knew the future. I’d have saved myself the time, energy and most importantly my funds. Being someone who never threw in the towel so quickly, I registered for the next sitting in 28th September. Time to face this monster again head- on!

I saw posts about MOD being “more generous “ with their 7 than BC but I’m Ghanaian and we only have BC so I wasn’t spoilt with choices like my fellow Nigerians. Just have to return to my “dearest” BC, who haven’t in this case been so generous to its beloved.Spoke to @yemblaze who added me to an ielts WhatsApp group and @stencil also sent me ielt materials . Thank you so much ladies. I’m forever grateful. This time, I had to strategize. I decided to learn extensively for the writing so I started with synonyms of common ielts topics from a youtube page which was suggested by someone here. I also contacted @blissnenye to help me with the writing and she made sure I wrote an essay everyday. “An essay a day keeps ielts failure away” lol. Like I mentioned earlier, this was almost like a punishment being meted out actually it was since I hated writing essays. I’d rather prefer reading those online but this lady, “my punisher” ensured I wrote and insisted on it. She was really bent on seeing me do something I hated. I realised It wasn’t just about the money for her but she really had my interest at heart..She tutored me for a week and told me I was good to go. Thank you my Madam @blissnenye.
So I Sat for the next sitting on 28th September and this time I wasn’t even looking forward to a better results COs since I had mixed feelings about the listening test. Results day finally came and I had LRS 9 9 7.5 and writing 6.5. Oo God! Not again! Hmmmm of course it would be writing, this devil keeps tearing its ugly head everywhere! What did I expect? I prepared so well so why 6.5 again.? What at all are they looking for?. I put in a request for remarking that same day results were released without taking my test report form. In mind, they should keep it until they gave me my 7. I prayed fervently for a positive outcome.
Then on the fateful day of 31/10/2019 , I received a mail. Behold the change I was waiting for had reflected!!! From 6.5 to 7. I was giddy with excitement. Sleep and I had conveniently become enemies that night . if this is how excited it feels to get the required ielts scores then I have not the least of ideas how you all react when you receive PPR mail.
Hope to jump, no dive into the pool and then wait for my ITA in the next draw.

Lol! I feel your pain, honestly I do. However now I'm going to cause more pain with my statement/question. cheesy grin

According to the checklist on my profile, I require a PCC from Ghana, Uk and Nigeria, of which I'm in the process of obtaining that for the latter two; that of Ghana has been more difficult given I have no friends presently in Ghana. However, while searching through this forum on the issue, I discovered where someone mentioned that for Malaysia a PCC isn't needed till after the application is submitted, quoting the information on the CIC website.

Comment is found here: https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/261#61308238

So I decided to check the CIC website for the requirements for Ghana and it states the same thing for Malaysia. Basically, it states that CIC will send me a letter requesting for a police certificate after I send my APR.

My dilemma now is, why will the PCC for Ghana be on my profile checklist when on their website it implies that I do not need a PCC before submitting my APR. Will I be able to submit the APR without the Ghana PCC? Will it affect my application in general? Should I wait for a request letter from CIC as the days tick by? Please help elders
