You keep saying this all the time, right from when it was 35. Funny enough you have little or nothing to do about it. Yeah, investors can't that's the sad reality.

Someone invests about 1.5 million in getting a car, and you think 25k weekly is fair enough? At what point will he recoup his capital? Not to start talking about ROI?

I know there's nothing I can do about it grin...But make we try to dey pity people as God take dey pity us. If I have a car, I can't give it out for 25k.

I rather use the money and buy fairly used Volkswagen LT bus and ply Oko-Afo to CMS. At least, drivers dey deliver 9k to 10k daily.

In as much as we pity them we have to be realistic here, if at all this message should be directed to the app companies.
Me said it long time ago, I won't invest in this business with that amount.
I would rather look for other things, now how many people have actually recouped their investment in this business? Even those collecting 35k, at the end of the day it's still stories.

So what would you rather suggest for investors?

To look for other businesses to invest in or if possible ooo, drive the car themselves. That way less stress on the car because the owner will want to take good care of the car, or give it out on HP.
Driver default after a year or so u collect the car and sell or start again, chaii some people shaa

Bros, forget that 10k daily revenue from Danfo drivers, na audio money.
True, is they make that much but they lie too much and spend their earnings on frivolity ( women, food/smoke pots and baba ijebu (2 sure and 3 direct).
My brother ventured into the business in 2015 but had to sell off the Danfo after two competent drivers dey scope him everytime dem suppose deliver money. He was always on ground to inspect the bus on Sundays, yet, they used Sakamanje for him.
The last driver was caught red handed at a restaurant at Ogudu, he lied that LASTMA arrested him and was looking for a bail out .
My brother got an info and trailed him to his usual faaji spot, where he met 2 ladies seated by him with plates full of orisirisi .
It wasn't funny.

My Oga, i never even do half of that amount but the good thing is : I am on 3 % commission, seeing Uber take just 69 naira out of 2300 naira trip totori my belle .
Moreover, i haven't been feeling too well since the turn of week couple with the fact that my brother had meetings to attend with his car.

One can gross 15k in a day, dia barely a week I don't do 16/18 but I make sure I don't joke with Friday and Saturday, Monday is always another sharp day for me. But Tuesday and Wednesday, let me just say it is well

The car owner ideology is :big fish swallow little ones. They try to enslave fellow mainland person into picking a used car and paying high weekly for rental. Imagine a man telling someone I referred to him to pay 32k weekly on the platform. And the worse part is that he also is a driver.

Now On the driver side, most of them are naive and ignorant, they hear the “make 60k weekly on Uber” and fall for it. So after getting into an agreement , they find out how bad they f***d up. And want to f**k up their bosses back... breach of agreement .

Gbas Gbo’s every where.

Like I always say.... the highest rental should be 25k weekly.

If someone still dey give u 100k a month on the platform with your car in good shape. It’s bether than 30-35k, with car written off, and fights after.

Men i can relate the bonded.. I suffered from it men, two weeks on the road third week mechanic shop

Is there anything else i need to do? I usually set destination trip to the island from Maryland 5.45am every day and i have only been lucky once, sometimes i just blow empty to the island because i like driving over there than here on the mainland (I get apprehensive a lot and the fear of Danfo bashing my car or passing through a one way route or LASTMA /council boys extorting me) makes driving on the mainland dreadful.

Kindly state year , price and condition of cars (Tokunbo or Naija). Thanks

And also upload pictures of car exterior, interior too. Because all these ads they post here when you call, what you will get or see is often times nothing to write home about. I once sent a number if a car owner partner who posted that he has a car and needs a driver, the guy called and the man started listing things

1...its a manual car
2..the exterior is not to neat but he can use it for a while before they go for painting
3..the shocks and other components that makes up the legs are bad.. Bla bla bla...

Would be nice if pictures are uploaded

Very soon the reality will 'heat' everyone and only car owners will survive. Christmas period is here, time to make money, but many car owners are planning to get a bit of the juice this season. It might not be so rosy like other Decembers.

My brother with this your write up.. The conclusion is that this business is not for you or everybody .. A guy just posted how his neighbor or pastor was able to drive on uber.. Saved enough money to travel abroad to do his masters. And he was able to also pay for his part of his accommodation and master program.. Now I dont think the guy has two heads... this is want separate the poor and the rich.. The poor sees an obstacle and says this is not possible.. The rich sees an obstacle and says I will make it work.. Keep in mind in I have a female uber driver ,she has been driving for me for six months plus.. With the money she made she used to help herself and family.. And now she has move on to other things for now pending to tend to personal matters.... .. Successful people are not ordinary people in a sense . This are people that are willing to test the limit and go places that ordinary people or either too scare to go or don't have the heart to go.. This is why rich people barely give handout to others. They struggle for their money when others were busy saying the impossible .. My advice bro is to find another job or avenue to make money.. This uber thing is not working out well for you.. Uber is not by force.

15k gini! Left the house since 6am, couldn't get a trip for over 3 hours, changed position multiple times from ikoyi to oniru to osapa London before i got one to Parkview estate.
I have done 2 long trips after that before i went to Idimu, but there's something with Uber i don't seem to understand since yesterday .
I see cars pass by me to pick up riders in the same vicinity, i had to log out twice before i could get my first trip.
Abi na like this dem dey do after clocking the 3% commission?

You mean you can run around for over 30km while looking for a trip?

In any business you have to say to yourself.. Am I for the long run or short run .. If you want to run a fleet of cars on uber .. This means you are going in for the long haul. It takes time and patience to learn a business.. Mistakes will be made and you will face challenges.. Companies like Apple ,Microsoft, Facebook, Global com, just to name a few.. Some of these companies have been around before me or you were born.. They didn't start making money right away. Many of them went through trial and error before finally making it big.. Each business has its ups and downs. Just because few owners are not making money ,does not means others are not..

Unfortunately Nigeria matter is we want to make money fast fast and easy ..that is why some are wasting their precious time focusing mainly on selling cars. Everybody is a car dealer in Nigeria now.. Nobody wants to do hard work or farm work..

They don't rub anything "special". The first step is to take out any body hair- shave, wax or use hair removal creams. After that, using any body lotion with even groundnut oil, will give that shine. Though some can use baby oils or scented body oil.

The fairer she is, the more attractive it would be to (most) men. Some (might) mix a lil bit of foundation with oil. Just for some balance cheesy

In all, leave laps and lift up your eyes to the hills; from whence cometh your help.
