Paper I.D is the official I.D.

Misppropriation of funds at all public parastatals. Same with Driver’s license. I only got the plastic DL almost at expiry.

That is a lie, majority of people who registered in the north & are northerners still haven't gotten d original card.

I'm tired of this retarded govt agencies. I lost the duplicate coloured printout after waiting patiently for 5years now.

To even register for it is Problem,talkless to collect.

It's okay if they allow every Tom, Dick and Harry into the country.

But the north has landmass so they should keep the beggers and herders in the north.

What I had from a reliable source is the contractor handling the printing collected money in 2014 but didn't do his job.
Buhari government came, the same contractor was asking for fresh money.
Effc, reminded him of payment was made by Jonathan government. So what money again.
He later claim the money didn't reach him complete as they shared the money.
Buhari ask him to go n do his job and the contract would be reviewed.
Since then nothing happened, the contractor is seriously in debt. Can't meet up with materials for now.

I applied for mine since 2015, this is 2019. Four years later and was told it'll be out in January of 2020 which I still doubt. Nigeria is a useless country!

Everything about government in Nigeria is slow and backward.

Interestingly, all the people destroying government institutions are using government funds, working hours and experience to build their private businesses.

Reminds me of when I visited Lautech teaching hospital in Oshogbo. Virtually all the senior workers there have their hospital or lab. They know how to stylishly refer you to their facility.

And the ones that don't have hospital are so unprofessional and lackadaisical about their work. It's an eyesore. They have no respect for patients' privacy or confidentiality.

I did mine also in 2014. Went to check in 2018, still went to check September dis year. Its still not ready. Imagine, 5yrs to make ordinary I.d card. I keep getting tired of dis country daily.

The bolded has to do with volume of traffic. The number of people in the south that are holders of international passport are more in number than those in the north. You should go to the passport offices in the North yourself and see the number of people who come daily for passport. You will rarely see people queueing outside.

No money has been appropriated in recent years for the print of the cards but honestly i don't even know why you need the card because the ID number is the most important thing.

Also the cards are kind of useless as most places except for the Immigration service don't ha
