Sweet Jesus did I just see a British speak wrong English?

You are not Nigeria or Nigerian. The statement implies she was
referring to an individual which means the use of Nigeria is wrong.

Nigeria is a country not an individual.
A country may also speak as a body but via an individual.

The use of Nigeria is totally correct

Nigeria is an individual in the figurative sense

Just like the headline "America Votes Trump into Office"

You probably don't know how Google works. It can be used to search for things other than porn. Try it bro, it works.

And if you don't have data, just dial 911 and see if you will get any response.

Nigeria is bad, but it isn't as bad as most people paint it. At least some things still work. Denigrating your own country because a silly airhead white woman did is beneath you, or maybe it isn't.
Mmmm.. Atleast you have Admitted searching for porn on google. grin

What country do you even think i am from?

Anyway, Just keep shaking your head as you have been in your previous comment, if it helps. grin

The fire service advice was correct but wrong in this instance because the contractor used the wrong building materials

Fire doors and apartment blocks are built with specific materials inside that will delay spread of fire. If that building was safe, the fire would have stayed in that guys house and not spread everywhere

You cant get down those stairs in the dark, with smoke, fire equipment and water everywhere. Most of the time, its not fire that kills people but smoke inhalation.

Plus So many people will be panicking, running and trampling each other

The fire service should have noticed that the advice was no longer relevant and stopped telling people to stay there. But the fault lies with the contractor.

But those contractors are linked with property developers worth billions of pounds (and probably involved in government) so nobody will punish them

As I said, poverty doesnt have a respect!

Lol My people hate accepting the truth, most European leaders know Africa is corrupt and reeks of poverty, but due to political correctness they will never come out and say it openly..The woman speaketh the truth, we need to hear more people like her speak up..

In saner climes, what happened in Onitsha would have been a big issue at the senate but not in this useless entity called Nigeria..

You would run into billows of toxic smoke from burning plastic and choke yourself to death??

Well it depends on the building sha

A fire door and flame retardant material is different from a basic wooden door

Lol lets pray we never find ourselves in such a situation, with crazy politicians insulting us on top of it. Chai!

Well my dad used to explain that fire door stuff to me, thats why I can see why they advised them to do that.

They are just apportioning blame to the firefighters to save their investment

You've said it all.
Don't call her a fool tho.
Don't reply people the way they talk.
Responding maturely makes you a bigger person.
God bless you.
God bless Nigeria.

Okay.
Our battered and raped nation you once knew is gradually moving to a better place.
Slow and steady we will get to Your country level madam.

God bless Nigeria.
God bless the Queen.

But we won't be surprised that as from this particular day,
You have become a role model to the enemies of Nigeria,
The enemies within,
AKA, the children of hate, perdition and frustration that are always sniffing like dogs for any negative news about our darling nation.
(The nation they call zoo, cos they see themselves as animals!)
It's in their DNA.

Meanwhile,
