Grumpyy:wow, this is a good news. I wish the two of you a good life. Lesson: Always be the type that listen even if you know he/she would tell lies. |

Grumpyy:I read this thinking it would end with “and that’s how I moved on from that relationship” lol I’m glad it ended well for you though. Nice read. However, shutting your partner out when you have a misunderstanding isn’t the best thing. It takes maturity to understand the need to confront situations head on and communicate, however how painful it is. |

I don't pay attention to what people say about the woman I love, if she wants to be stupid, she will be the one to tell me by herself. My case: I once had a girl I loved, she was fun, homely, a good person. Till she messed up. Baby girl got up one day and told me she has to sell her body to different men, because that was the only way for her to take care of herself. I said nothing, pretended I didn't hear, and moved on with my life. I never called her again after that!!! On her wedding to another guy, she ran into a mutual friend, reported me, called me all sorts, that I was a time waster who just wanted sex. Friend was pissed, met me later and transfered the aggression!! I calmly explained what happened and what was said. She went back, relayed her new information, baby girl was shocked!! Said she never knew I was paying attention!! I always allow women to be themselves when we date, no control, no cage, no pressure. If you want to be stupid, you will be allowed. I have no need for cows who need a herdsman to beat sense into them everyday. I have met wonderful wise women and very stupid women using this approach. So this guy might have done the same, and you messed up. Move on. |

Confront your doubts, understand your partner, be vulnerable, committed, regardless of what you hear about your partner until your partner proves otherwise. That is why it is called a relationship. |

It's really wrong to assume things and draw conclusions when you're not 100% sure. Hasty decisions have always been a bad idea. That's how my ex lost me and after all these years, he still wants me back, not minding that I've moved on and I'm married with kids now. Back then in College... Hmmmmmmmmm... Memories Ok, quick one, so, I was in a relationship with this guy, he was like the hottest guy in my Faculty, (we were both in the med. Schl), I was a little on the shy side and not the type that loves to be noticed. All I cared about then was my books, how I could sink them into my head, and get the best grades, I wanted to be like Dad or better. One day on my way back from the lecture hall, I ran into this guy and I was shocked he was stalking me, he tried to introduce himself, I told him I already knew who he was. We got talking and ended up attending the next lecture together, sitting side by side. In the long run we became friends after so much pushing away and trying so hard not to be noticed, I just found myself falling for him, before I could say jack we were best of friends, you know, like the Tom and Jerry kinda friendship, he was always chasing, and I was always running. Fast forward to later, we agreed that our relationship wouldn't go beyond cuddling and occasional kisses, it was a no sex relationship, and of course our school then frowned at such act and therefore there was close monitoring from the part of the securities. We grew very fond of each other and we maintained our relationship until we left school, then something happened. He called me up one day and said he had a free weekend and he wanted me to come over to see him, I couldn't say no cos it was over a year already since we last met. I put a few things together, booked my flight and went over to see him, he took me to see some friends at a bar and we had a few hang outs and so much junk to eat, good part, we both don't take alcohol. We were so tired and it was really late so we couldn't go back to his family house cos he actually invited me over to come spend time with him and his family. We had to spend the night at his friend's house and we left first thing in the morning. While we were at his friend's house, I noticed his friend just couldn't take his eyes off me, infact it was so obvious that my boyfriend noticed and almost fought his friend. We retired to our rooms for the night, I got scared cos I really thought something was gonna happen that night, I don't know how he did it, but I remember he was really turned on esp. when he saw me in my night wear but I kept reminding him not to forget our agreement, I really loved the fact that he could control his feelings, even though he held on to me all through the night. I spent some time with him and his family for a few days and they never wanted me to leave but I had to go. He dropped me off, kissed me goodbye and I came back home. After about a month or so, my boyfriend called me and was screaming and scolding me on phone for having a fling with his friend, he said the guy told him that I visited him and he saw some pics of me and my contact in the guy's phone. I was speechless, I tried to calm him down first and explain things to him but he wanted to hear nothing, he put off his phone, and I never heard from him again. I called him several times but he never responded. Back to his friend, dude was an asshole, he wanted a piece of me, at least I could tell from the looks. He got my pics from my phone the last time I visited him with my boyfriend, I remember he collected the phone from my boyfriend and we were too busy with each other trying to catch up that we didn't notice what the dude was doing with my phone. I never had his contact nor did I ever communicate with him. Then one day, after so many years of searching for me on social media, my boyfriend called to say that he was sorry for not trusting me, he later found out that his friend was an idiot and a liar, he did same thing to him again and a couple other friends. But it was too late cos I was married by the time he realized himself. |

Loopholes: Did your babe not elicit any response after sending the nudes? Did you ask for the nudes? If you did why did you not remind her when you did not see them,? Do people keep chats for up to a year? Maybe but I clear mine in two weeks or less. |

Poster, you goofed! Why didnt you confront her with the info you had? Someone who had the hots for your babe sends you a compromising picture, and you didn't give her benefit of doubt ??And yes , the guy in question was right to ask how come you didn't trust her enough. I hope she has healed well because it must have been a traumatic 6mths. Your sister is wise indeed. And your savior. Imagine if she hadn't interfered and you had found out years down the road how you messed up...... Matured people don't stop communication or ghost. Only silly and immatured people do that. Congrats on your happy ending. |
