This is vague. What do you mean by Adminstrative Purpose? Even me don't know what you mean there. I don't think the CO will too.

If you dont want to be explicit you can just put the reason you were denied: for me I put I was denied because I couldn't demonstrate enough ties to Nigeria at the time. The blue paper you got when you were denied explained the reason you were denied.

I think that's okay. When filling DS160 for B1/B2 visa, the Past Work Experience and School Attended column is removed for women. I don't know why they do that. Perhaps the same apply for K1 since its the same DS160 form that's been filled.

That's not normal its meant to show please review what you are filling very well before you sent , its either you clicked on something which says you are employed or you are self-employed even with that it still shows you a column to fill in the details of your employment

Thanks everyone that assisted me.
I called the Embassy, I was told that the expiration date on the petition means that one must secured an interview date before the expiration date, that it doesn't mean that one must be interviewed before that date.
If anyone didn't secure any date before the expiration, the approval becomes invalid.

The Embassy also gave me CGI to call for correction of the mismatch between my Ds-160 form barcode and my appointment confirmation code. The CGI also corrected it and sent it to my mail of which I have printed.

I told you.....just go ahead and choose the date available asap. The dates disappear pretty quickly.

Actually,it does.i was asked to fill my previous work experience,travel history and education background.i just put I graduated at so so date and I’ve been unemployed since then.and I’ve never been out of the country before so I didn’t have to fill all that part

Yes Gloria both of them much match if it doesn't match I will advise you call the embassy right away and explain the challenges to them they will rectify it immediately send you the correct confirmation page with the matching codes , they will do that while you are on call with them and they will ask you to confirm you have received it before they hang off the phone .. Please do that now to avoid issues on that day ...

You don't know the detail of his case. Perhaps his was not K1. Or Perhaps USCIS/NVC/US Embassy made a mistake on his case thus are teying to help resolve the consequence of the mistake they created. Perhaps. But I don't know.

What I know is that for K1 Visa, you are the one to schedule the interview date, not the Embassy. And as long as you scheduled your date before the Peririon expires, you are fine.

When I sent a mail to the embassy requesting I didn't get the response "extension is at the discretion of the CO". I was just told that I should endeavor to schedule a date before the petition expires. They said it didn't matter if the date I was able to get is beyond the petition's expiration date.

Yea. No one knows the full details but she booked the interview well before the expiry date. In fact, the interview date was just 9 days after the expiry date. Expiry date Oct 20. Interview Date Oct 29. Maybe I will send their email and the embassy's response to you.

There may be other issues but on the surface that's the information

I was able to scheduled a date
But my Ds 160 confirmation code is 10 digits which is different from the barcode on my appointment confirmation code which is the code on top of my profile account that appeared as the barcode ( which 8 digits I usually see at the top of my profile account when I login )

It changed from "finger print review completed" to "case ready to be scheduled for interview". It's still reads that till now.

Don't worry. You don't even need the Bachelor Certificate unless you did engagement ceremony and are worried about the CO thinking you are married. And even a Sworn Affidavit at a High Court can even suffice.

Yes it was rectified.. Were u asked to call out your DS-160 confirmation code? I hope what you called they heard it correctly? Cuz I ensure that I used A- for Apple, B- for ball to ensure they got it correctly when I was told to call out my confirmation code

Had my interview today

Got to the embassy at 5:30 am for my 7:30am appointment ,heard everyone including the security talking about the new fees of 40700 once your visa is approved and no one could explain what visa category needed to make that payment ,so I had to rush back to the hotel and got my atm to withdraw from the bank ,the guys outside were helping people for early interview withdraw and charged 1k.When I got back did normal security checks given number 14.

Went into the main building, submitted documents at window 16 submitted appointment letter ,Ds160,medicals,police report, tax return,w2,paystub,birth certificate ,gave me back some evidence my fiancee submitted to uscis and told to sit and wait for my number,there are seats for immigrants to sit and the non immigrants stand.

There were only 2 officers to interview immmigrants and they were approving people ,by 9am i was called to window 17.

Why not marry in Nigeria ,didn't ask to see any document ,then he gave me 2 papers one for my rights in america and one circled where to pick up passport and visa would be ready in 2 weeks .

Same with mine. Ds160 and appointment confirmation barcodes are on same page but different barcodes.
The lady I spoke with said I’m good that way and it doesn’t have to be the same.

Oh maybe I didn't understand what she meant.

@Glorioussugar, there are two bar code numbers on the Interview Confirmation Printout. One will be that of the DS160 the other will be that of the Interview Confirmation. So as long as you can see a bar code number on the printout that matches with the DS160 number, you are fine.

I think you really need somebody who knows the process to be physically with you so as to guide you properly.
