For those who have schooled in Finland

How is life after study, especially for the IT guys there.

is it favourable, or is it difficult to find job as a black person in the tech field?

Also, I will like to enquire if the Finnish embassy will accept a German Blocked account of 8640 euros in place of the 6720 euro living cost of 1 year.

Thank you all. May God bless you all for the good work you have done here.

Hello everyone, please i need your experienced-based information.
I read online that i need to submit the following documents as part of the application:
.
1. An officially certified copy of the degree certificate/diploma
2. An official transcript of records or an officially certified copy of the transcript
3. A diploma supplement (if available)
Here is my question please, How i'm i supposed to certify my degree certificate? I thought I only need my past university to send my transcript to the school. Please help me with your valuable guidance, I want to start the transcript document process ASAP. I am very confused about the certifying of the degree certificate, those who have done this in the past, please help me. And please, is it possible to send my transcript to the university before the application process begins?

Very appreciated!

Hi,
Sorry to bother y'all.
Is there anyone here, while applying for their residence permit used a person already residing in Finland as a sponsor?
Please, if you did, I need your help, and it's very urgent.
I will be using my uncle as my sponsor, and he's already residing(as a Finnish citizen) in Finland.

I wont advise you call you selling your property, because people have been refused based on selling properties. The reason I suppose is that if you sell property for the first year, what will you sell again to finance your second year and that the likely of you working to recoup your funds instead of schooling is high.
Please bro , is test of English compulsory for admission in Finland or we can just use English waiver?

Are you going for a bachelor's or masters degree?
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by ogedozie: 2:26pm On Nov 07, 2019
I really don't know if this is actually coming late but I would like those of us interested in studying in Finland to get to know ourselves and at the same time keep each other updated while
we wait for the application process to commence.

I will also like to plead with all those who has successfully moved to Finland to assist us in responding to our questions. I understand its not really easy to visit nairaland regularly considering your busy schedule but your input will be appreciated considering the recent changes.
We need to keep the thread going!!!!

Thanks for your cooperation.

I think overtime, people have lost interest in Migrating to Finland since the introduction of tuition fees.

I have the same question, mine is Bsc, I would like to know if English language test is compulsory, can I use my 100L transcript to apply for a Bsc program in Finland or would Waec suffice? Is Finland still tuition free?

wow! it seem like we are in the same category, Finland is no longer tuition free and there is an entrance examination for Bsc program but I'm yet to confirm if there is an alternative.

Nevertheless, let's keep each other posted if there is any update.
