Federal Road Safety Corps rescued an accident victim which occurred at Sapele expressway and took him to Central Hospital in same Sapele, the doctors and nurses refuse to attend to accident victim claiming their are on strike or leave.

The victim has been abounded in a critical condition for over one hour loosing blood.

I thought doctors are bound to the Hippocrates Oath.

How can a human being be so callous as this, to refuse help to another human, who is in obvious pain and discomfort?

Nigerian hospitals are known for this, always refusing to admit patients under the guise of not having sufficient bed spaces.

Kudos to the FRSC for rescuing the man. Job well done.

This country ahhh!!!! Why is Nigeria like this. If dem no dey on strike or leave, dem go claim make dem go collect card for him. This is wickedness and am sure its not part of the profession. This is what the country don cause because of the way they have been treated people in the health sector and at the end of the day na the masses go suffer am. God help us oo

Nigerian doctors with all the theory they read in medical school, poor clinicals or practicals all they know how to fight for is money.

They strike here and there because of money and salary increment nothing else. No wonder their head is so empty they forget instruments inside your intestines after performing surgery.

As usual waiting for deposit....a neighbour was rushed to the hospital almost lifeless and the good Samaritan was asked to deposit 100k before they can touch her....atimes I wonder how many lives Nigerians have .....because our thick skin no be here.....A country where doctors who are meant to be saving lives are so used to seeing dead bodies that it doesn't move them again...God pls help us

My mum Is suffering from glaucoma. She discovered this last two years. She was told to do surgery then but because of the fear she has concerning anything surgery she opted to receiving prescribed medications(eye drops and drugs). Recently however, she has been complaining incessantly about her sight deteriorating and I'm really scared coz I don't want my mum to go blind. So we went to d doctor who told us to do surgery before...but we were told it was too late for surgery and she just has to keep managing her sight like that...please I sincerely need some advice from the opticians in the house. Please is there a possibility of getting glaucoma surgery two years after it was diagnosed.

I might sound like s quack but I learnt that Forever Living Products have supplements very good for eyes. Give them try. Their office is on Aromire street, off Awolowo way, Ikeja. You'll buy it there at company price.

Oga u seems to be pained ...don't know y though...the op said doctor and nurse and u just isolated doctors and stated sprewing shit! No one is saying what they did was right......but don't be too quick to judge! U were not there....u don't even kW if the Hosp has the resource to manage his emergency condition! If u had worked in a governt owned accident and emergency unut....u will know wht it takes...pls blame the management or ur so call Govt and stop blaming doctors ....
