University of Ibadan once again has shown that she is truly first and the best university in Nigeria by producing 26 first class graduates at the Law School Bar Final Examinations for 2019.
Below is the breakdown of the result of August 2019 Bar Final Examinations:

A total number of five thousand, six hundred and eighty nine (5,689) students sat for the exam.
Hundred and fourty seven (147) students made first class.

Seven hundred and fourty one (741) made second class upper.

Two thousand, two hundred and fourty six (2,246) made second class lower divisions.

One thousand, two hundred and ninety one(1,291) made ordinary pass.

Three hundred and nineteen(319) made conditional pass.

Eight hundred and ninety four (894) failed the exam.

Another fourty one (41) students missed the exam while ten(10) students' result were withheld.

However, it must be noted that out of these 26 first class graduates at the law school, only six made first class in UI.

The University of Ibadan Vice Chancellor, Prof. Olayinka, in his Facebook post of November 6, attributed the unprecedented success to UI rigorous and transparent admission processes coupled with excellent teaching facilities.

My school, Unizik, didn't impress me at all.
Congratulations to them all as we wait for other school to apprise us how their students performed at the Law School.

How many first class graduate did the private universities produce?

Our education institutions always coming out with first, second class graduates.



While Nigeria herself has spend more than 50yrs still unable to graduate with a third class, not even a pass.


She has been told to withdraw voluntarily; no wonder her citizens are escaping like vapour on a daily basis to other 3rd, 2nd and 1st class countries.

My thought exactly, Infact the 2.1 guys are very likely to be holding their briefs which is a Nigeria thing. But it's not a yardstick not to be serious anyway.
