What will happen to the man's spinal cord or neck if that hilux hits a deep and big pothole on the way to hospital? Remember he is already a trauma patient.

She was told to do surgery then but because of the fear she has concerning anything surgery she opted to receiving prescribed medications(eye drops and drugs). Recently however, she has been complaining incessantly about her sight deteriorating and I'm really scared coz I don't want my mum to go blind. So we went to d doctor who told us to do surgery before...but we were told it was too late for surgery and she just has to keep managing her sight like that...please I sincerely need some advice from the opticians in the house. Please is there a possibility of getting glaucoma surgery two years after it was diagnosed.

Nigerian doctors with all the theory they read in medical school, poor clinicals or practicals all they know how to fight for is money.

They strike here and there because of money and salary increment nothing else. No wonder their head is so empty they forget instruments inside your intestines after performing surgery.

Have you considered their plight? Inasmuch I don't support the inhumane act exhibited by those doctors and nurses, the system is bad.

Why should doctors and nurses work for free? Initially many of them do treat the patient out of pocket, including labor, supplies, and other consumables; but when it came time to collect, the patient will start giving excuses or want to do "monthly payment". After several years you get a bit disheartened. If people really cared that much - including the person taking the pictures - they would donate money for the patient to give to the doctor. Is it after treating 6 patients who don't pay that the doctors will feed their own families?

Some agree on a fee before emergency treatment or surgery.Once the relation or family member they brought has recovered or had a successful surgery;they swear they did not agree on the fee you claimed or even in some cases deny having had discussion on a particular fee.
Nigerian patients can be so crookingly wicked atimes and many doctors and hospitals have reciprocally become hardened and ruthless when it comes to paying before service,even if your case is critical.
Even in the states,once they find out you are not covered by insurance or have a means of paying,they abandon you to your faith even if you threaten and invoke all the curses in this Earth and beyond.

I think the FRSC should have a medical unit made up of doctors and nurses that can render first aid assistance when things like this happened next time

To say Naija is a failed state is an understatement. Everything seems to be totally out of place even with common sense sef. How can FRSC evacuate an accident victim with such gross injuries behind their truck like he is some piece of shit "shithole syndrome "? Give me one good reason why Akowa shouldn't relief these doctors with immediate effect if himself isn't affected by the same shithole syndrome?

Lets assume you own a hospital for business, you will treat a Nigerian that has no health insurance before payment? Lets always put ourselves in other people's shoes before judging. I am sure ypur neighbour has no health insurance and he or she still expected to to be treated before payment. Other nations that things work, they have health insurance for the populace, making it easy for health workers to attend to them without pay. Govt will tell you health service is free, its a lie. Insure your health today to avoid this kind of stories

My mother died in their hands. 3 months of them running around not knowing what they were doing. There was no test we didnt do, no bill we didnt pay, and they couldnt make a simple diagnosis. Just running up and down. Three months of us wasting good money.
