there is no big deal about path/pharm. So stop making it seem like one huge mountain. How many medical students can draw the structure of a drug? Every course is tough in their own way. I've passed through Path/Pharm.
My friend is also a Pharmacy student so we discussed alot when I was studying Pharmacology.

Medical students do Pharmacology only which is just one department in Pharmacy. . . .there's more to pharmacy than pharmacology.

There should be mutual respect between Doctors and Pharmacists. There's no need for insults and unhealthy rivalry. . .if he says he does pathology or there's nothing difficult in path/pharm just scroll past those comments because who nor go nor know.

It's easier to transfer from Microbiology and Biochemistry in Uniport because, the year one curriculum for pharmacy, microbiology and biochemistry students are the same, but basic Medical sciences don't do mathematics in year one and they don't also do the second semester Physics and in Pharmacy there is no carry over.
But please go to the faculty of pharmacy in your school and get the appropriate info.

From your comment it shows you are still a student and maybe a student of one of the new generation universities that medicine started before pharmacy. have you asked yourself why the department of pharmacology for medical students in schools like UNN and UI are situated in Faculty of Pharmaceutical sciences, the reason is simple pharmacology is a core course for pharmacists and the do yourself a favour and check the pharmacology curriculum of pharmacists or go and check project topics of pharmacy students in pharmacology.
Take a chill pill junior, we know where the doctor has an edge but definitely not our darling Pharmacology.

What that guy was trying to tell that fake Doctor is the fact that Pharmacy students go deeper than them in pharmacology. This is usually aided by learning the SAR (Structure Activity Relationship) of these drugs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Pharmacists don't just cram all the side effects and other effects of drugs, but they know why each drugs have all these effects through SAR which is basically a course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

I really don't understand all these unnecessary childish display of arrogance from those that should know and act better in the society.
