Orphaned at 9, the single mother of one who was born into a Nigerian Polygamous family was adopted by Mr. Hanson family in Ghana. Now in UK, divorced and depressed, Timmy K, shares with Pearlnews her regrets and how she plans to make amends.
“Some day, I want to reach out to people like me. Ladies who go into prostitution because they are orphans. People who steal because they are orphaned. My story is a bitter one.

I pray God gives me the chance and keep me alive to talk about it, so I can inspire and warn others too. From the age of 9, till now, I have been struggling. I want my voice to be heard. I want to tell my story to every one out there.
My marriage became an abuse for years. I also went into depression and was rushed to the hospital,” she recalled.

She continued, “I don’t think I want to give marriage another chance, because my marriage experience is very bitter. I have been abused and I kept enduring. I want to move on with my career for now, but you never can tell. I might fall in love. And if I would eventually get married again, it would be a man within my age bracket, not an old man, like I did before. Not marry an old man because of money. I married a grandfather.

Talking about Regina Daniels, I was same age when I got married to an old man (my ex). I don’t think her mother, Rita Daniels influenced her decision. The person that should be blamed is the manipulative husband because this is exactly what happened to me. Old men are always using money and affluence to manipulate young girls and they fall for it. I was a victim too.

I also had an old man ask for my hand after showering me with gifts at 19. Still I said no. I had no money but i had hope. Nobody asked you to marry for money. Don't talk trash about other people because of your decision. That you went in and had it bad doesn't mean Regina Daniels own will be so. There are people that married their age mates and regret it too. Tell your story and move on and stop chasing clout by calling out people minding their own business.
