Last paragraph refers:
Follow the 1st attached picture to monitor the apps gulping your data and picture 2 to restrict any apps data access (foreground and background).

Go by dropping your notification pane and select the data counter.
Egbon, ads just got increased on my phone recently, and I didn't download a new app.... My main reason for wanting a firewall earlier... What do you recommend I do?

I have said it severally that Most SD Cards we buy can't match the speeds of our internal memory, hence slowing the phone down.

One reason why I advise people to buy a phone with at least 64Gb ROM. I don't play with speed.

True this.. I used my RN5A prime for a whole year without a memory card and it was so fast eh, faster than my current by far, the guy wey I sell am give still dey thank me till date..

Boss,I want to buy a new memory card, pls suggest for me abeg..

Good morning fam.
Has anybody here handled the tecno spark 4? Do you think it's advisable to recommend redmi 7a/8a over the tecno device? Especially in terms of stock camera. The person involved has been awed by images produced by the Tecno device and wants my opinion on getting a new device on a budget of 30-35k. For a higher redmi device, I'm sure the crappy Tecno device doesn't come near but since 7a/8a are entry level devices which I've never handled, I'll need your honest and unbiased recommendation. Especially if you've handled the devices in quote

Ads increase on which apps? If on Mi apps, go back and toggle OFF the recommendation feature but if on 3rd party apps, then, one of the apps must be the culprit. I don't use firewall but I'm not sure firewall will not restrict ads but restrict apps access to internet which your data saver can execute for you. There are ads locker you can use.... GrandMufti or other Gees can help with that.

When I switch back to uc browser after checking another app (say WhatsApp), it displays an add on the screen and ads blocker has been enabled on my uc browser. My mx player too displays ads... Crazy thing is... I have restricted data for this particular app long ago. Sometimes, ads pop up on my homescreen. It's stil the same launcher I have been using since I started using the phone and Internet access has been restricted long ago. Infact wen u restart the phone, it is always alerting me that Internet access has been restricted for it, urging me to unrestrict it, and the pop up vexes me sef.... Seeing it

Adblocker on UC doesn't work for ads offered for by UC Browser themselves.

To solve third party ads problem download Adguard Pro.

You're not alone! Had to uninstall UC Browser on my phone. Ads still come up on Chrome too, but not as much as when I was using UC. All these started few days ago.

Chrome ads are from websites not chrome itself. Don't know when they will add extension support like it's PC version.

Hello guys, I have 30k to spare for a phone and a friend here on NL advised me to get a xiomi phone but the problem is that I've never used this brand before and I don't wanna regret it later on. Besides, I don't even know the model I should go for.

Your help will be highly appreciated

Thanks in anticipation

my friends in school were all using xiaomi, the slogan then was "xiaomi or nothing".

when they play PUB-G, I will just be admiring them .

until on Thursday, I got my own.

the initial plan was to get Redmi 8A, but I have to force myself to get Redmi 8 4gb varient.

so I would advise to get this phone...add up and get Redmi 8.

I charge my phone once per day and it last still the next.

Sorry bro MI A3 camera is the best in its class.

Sony IMX586(MI a3) vs Samsung GM1 (note cool What’s the difference?
The Sony IMX586 has a true 48 million pixels resolution. By using the phone’s camera in 3:4H mode, you can get pictures with great details and high-sharpness. Zooming into these pictures will not lose the quality or break the pixels.

On the other hand, Samsung uses pixel interpolation to convert a 12MP picture into 48MP for its GM1 sensor. The software part here completely damages a picture. Zooming in on a picture taken by Samsung GM1 will immediately show you how it damages the quality.
The Sony IMX586, for now, is definitely a better choice over the Samsung GM1 sensor

People abuse this forum too much. Some users achieve good things here while some don spoil their opportunities due to their posts.

Aside this, you portray your real life attitudes on social media.
