That's a very subjective approach.

First of all what is a successful international football career❓

Which would you rather have 10 caps for Spain or 20 with Mali. Is success by numbers of games or game impact.

For instance having 20 caps for Brazil is it the same value as 50 for Guinea Bissau.

As you can see a deduction on what international football success, is far from simplistic.

Adama would be very lucky to get up to 5 caps with Spain...
On the other hand he could have up to 50 with Mali and may even help them go further in Africa and maybe the world...
Togo isn't up to Nigeria level in football but Emmanuel Adebayo played for them instead of Nigeria and he has a successful international career...
Stop assuming that playing for an African team would devalue a player...

So u would chose to reject the offer from employer A even when your chance of staying longer with them is much higher than with employer B?

It's not just about employer A or employer B.

But the quality of each employer in terms of benefits, value and further career progression.

So which would you prefer 5 years with TOTAL as an expatriate staff or 20 years with Oando.

What's your choice

But you didn't answer the very simple question, l repeat, " What is a successful international football career ❓ "

Then we can dissect the issues without prejudice.

What value, benefit and further career progression will Traore earn for playing with Spain instead of Mali ?
He is already 23 years old and no longer a prospect but a full professional!

Aubameyang is playing for Gabon instead of France, has it affected his progress ?

If u can't own up to ur words, then there's no need for further discussion...

That's not a merit based system but a discriminatory and excluding one. That's essentially favoritism.

It enthrones mediocrity so because your in Nigeria born and or bred you should be favoured.

The NFF youth teams are not a social welfare programme.

komekn I am with you on this one....
let the best be picked without prejudice or jaundiced... irrespective of where their dual nationality status....

I hate it when we exclude certain players all because they're foreign born...let's go for the best and not allow sentiments ride on our plans to build a formidable national team

I have said before that the league you play in is not a conclusive deduction of the quality of the club and or the players.

Ajax is in a league the Eredivisie which is rated much lower than the Turkish league. But in reality can any team in Turkey stand with Ajax we can go further can any team in the Portuguese league stand with Ajax currently.

I say this because there has been a lot of derogatory comments and degradation of the Scottish league. However, l feel that it has be taken in context.

Last week Celtic were able to beat Lazio and Rangers beat Porto. Statistically speaking that should really be impossible.

So if a player is doing well consistently standing out with top class performances. It should tell us something about quality. Aribo has proven that beyond all doubt.

I agree with this...reason why I rate Olayinka so highly...he is somehow a winger I believe has so much potentials and unique traits most of our wingers don't have... I rate him high...forget about the league..

but for such a player and club to give clubs like Bercelona and Inter a run for their money it shows there is something good about him and his teammates

The way Pep shook those referees' hands.... Hahahahahahahahaha....

He was mouthing, "Thank you so much" and shaking them so vigorously.

Very sarcastic I tell you. Pep is gonna blame the referees for this it seems. Lol

That you got to the voting booth late does not mean the rules should be changed for you.

gerrit

What was the rule back then?

Was it stated that only 7 members as represented by their various monikers in accordance to the total vote garnered shall constitue the committee membership?

If Yes, Then I'm sorry for making my View known.

However, If No, Then your submission above is a nullity and thus holds no ground to subject me to crucifixion okay.
