Forget the event that led to his arrest. He has been granted bail, why is he still in DSS custody. It's Sowore today, it could be you tomorrow. iamJ: |

God Bless you for shutting up the insensitive guy that pulled up irrelevant cases. It's Sowore today, it could be anybody tomorrow. Why should a Govt agency be against the rule of law. Let's forget the event that led to his arrest. He has been granted bail and he has met his bail conditions, then free him. madridsta007: |

Sorry Bro, National Security is not greater than the rule of law. Buhari said this sometimes last year and many lawyers corrected him. Push your national security breach pieces of evidence to the court and prove to the judge beyond a reasonable doubt so that bail will not be approved cos once the Judge approves bail and the conditions are met, the defendant must be released iamJ: |

saajus:I do not support Sowore, one bit. I think he should be held accountable for being a key part of the bridge foisted this proven despotic regime on Nigeria due to his hate of GEJ and what GEJ represented. His Sahara Reporters was an efficient Buhari/El Rufai/APC campaign tool.?Accountability is important. I am sure he would agree with me. However, regardless of the individual, I am objective enough to find inaccuracies and lies reprehensible- hence my response to the fellow that alleged that WaPo kept quiet on Khashoggi. That is a blatant lie as Khashoggi was a WaPo associate staff. They have written countless articles for Khashoggi, unlike them. I am also a believer in the rule of law and despite my belief that accountability is supreme in life, the rule of law is sacrosanct. As the courts have asked that he be released, I will support any move to prevail on the despotic regime he foisted on Nigerians to release him. |

I think Washington Post should write more of Trump's madness and let us sort ourselves out by ourselves. |
| Re: Sowore: Washington Post Condemns Buhari Over Detention by Yoighaman(m): 10:47pm On Nov 12, 2019 |
People should please stop this nonsense of saying Sowore supported Buhari...and so? He did because that was the right thing to do at the time. I voted for this Buhari all the times he contested so I can be categorized with Sowore but we all make mistakes and learn from them. This President is flaunting court orders, do you realize what that implies? The judiciary is the last hope of the common man and here is someone doing it with impunity. Imagine yourself in prison and the court grants you bail and some folk somewhere who thinks he is above the law deems it fit to overrule court orders. The quest to ensure Sowore's release without prejudice means well for our democracy, please let us protect the only voice we have which is freedom of expression as enshrined in our constitution, freedom of expression in a peaceful protest is allowed anywhere in the world, why should Nigeria's case be different? Please let's leave the messenger and stick with the message, you never can tell what tomorrow holds for any of us, we can find ourselves in this kind of situation and if we condone it, it just might boomerang, Sowore might not have realized this fact but we who are free should. |
