Chukwueze is just stagnant, fancy footwork but one dimensional

Yeah he had a shot on Target and I still insist he's better than both players

This is one guy whose callup is questionable. I don't understand what he offers the Super Eagles.
It's because of his Club side output na. Just like AKPEYI and that's why ROHR keeps inviting them regularly for playing week in week out.

I think it's high time he starts considering players' prior SE outputs henceforth before extending invitation for future opportunities since players are now in abundance willing to done the Green white Green colour of NIGERIA.

Simon Moses remains one of our best winger in Europe as at now.

When we find something better then we can begin to compare.
If he doesn't improve his game, PETER OLAYINKA is on his trail.

It's high time we do away with Average mentality proportions.

Another player under watch is IWOBI that is only enjoying the on the back of his UNCLE-AUSTIN JJ OKOCHA.

Inspite of all the opportunities under WENGER and with the SE, No clear cut improvement of such significance.

That's unfair to Iwobi. He has done good things for us and I don't think he is only playing because of Jay Jay. He hasn't reached his potential but the light is clearly shinning at the end of the tunnel. You can see that the improvements are there to be made but his size, skill and eye for the pass is clearly there.

Moses simon has not done bad for the eagles

He helped us qualifiy for the world cup, he was crucial , he did better than so many of your favorite players in the afcon, he got 2 assist for your information, i just like the fact that rohr is not one of those local coaches, i am always satisfied with who he chooses to start of not

I dont know why many of you hate him for no good reason

Iwobi deserves his position, stop bringing family issue to the eagles as it got nothing to do with this

thanks for the highlights i almost wasted data to watch that NTA inspired link but i dodge am grin thank God

from the highlights it seems chukwueze was our greatest threat but his decision making needs loads of work could not link up with osimhen. when S. Kalu is on his game he looks unplayable but still lacks that consistency but kudos to him for that world class goal. Aribo looked a threat. Osimhen surprised he wasn't more aggressive in front of goal. from the little i saw of him he got the ball in some dangerous situations but his hesitancy in some situations cost him some clear chances at goal. Aina looked good in attack. Iwobi needs competition simple as that

No no no! You are not derailing anything because it's the simple truth about NIGERIA.

Forgiveness, I could remember the year 2013 or was it 2012? when I had to visit Lagos for the first time from ABUJA in order to participate in the GLO LAGOS INTERNATIONAL HALF MARATHON,

How I met the National stadium after completing the race was a serious eye sore.

Was it the state of the facilities including the Toilets?

or the tartan track of the stadium?

or the open roof?

Even the adjacent institute of what is it called building seen towering from within the stadium was almost delapidated.

While the Lagos State owned stadium could be seen from afar in a better shape.

I was just wondering how bad we are as a people in terms of managing National monuments because of my experience with the state of the ABUJA stadium though very much New at that time.

I'm sure that of Abuja is no longer what it used to be too right now.

It's a pity seriously.

Onaucho got only 6 caps and a goal, not like others that has gotten 6 caps has 6 goals

MetalJigsaw:
IWOBI MUST LEARN FROM ARIBO
opera.com

Alex Iwobi has spent 4 years with the Super Eagles and it’s difficult to identify his best roles in the team.

It’s even more complicated for him with the retirement of John Obi Mikel, he has to assume the role of a creative number 10.
Iwobi made no impact at the World Cup last year as the coach gave him little time at the tournament.

The insurgence of Joe Aribo will now be a big worry for Iwobi as he offers more to the team and could be the pick when the chips are down.
After watching Nigeria vs Benin game, I carefully studied the roles of both players, their weaknesses, strengths and what they will bring to the team..

For better analyses, see below the truths;

POSITION/ROLES

From his first game for Nigeria against Ukraine, the world knew the perfect role for Aribo. A box to box midfielder who loves to burst forward to create and score goals. For Iwobi, he started his rise under Wenger playing as a winger and Rohr adopted that role for him. (When the confusion started)

But since Mikel was inconsistent with the team during the last year of his international career, he was drafted to the middle and that started the position problems for him.

At Rangers under Steven Gerrard, Aribo flourishes as an all-round midfielder and against Benin, he showed and played the role well having 2 shots on target.

Iwobi tried to create chances but his final balls are still his major problem and the only tangible thing he did against Benin was the 1-2 that led to the penalty which Osinhem calmly converted.

It’s now a big headache to identify the position that suits Iwobi as he plays two different roles for club and country. And for Aribo, it’s just like a puzzle as he fits well with the same role for club and country.

GOALS

At Arsenal, Iwobi struggled to get goals as he scored just 15 goals in 149 appearances. A record that led to his sale from Arsenal to Everton.

From his days at Charlton Athletic, Aribo raked up 11 goals in 84 and in just 10 games into the season at Rangers, he has scored a goal. A better goal record to Iwobi.

In 3 appearances for Super Eagles, Aribo has scored 2 goals and against Benin, he had more shots on target than Iwobi.

Managers love midfielders that add goals to their team and despite arriving camp late, Aribo played all 90 minutes.

For Iwobi, it’s now a must he improves his game as there is a better option in the middle of the park if Etebo comes back into the team.

STYLE

With his nickname, English Yaya Toure, you will know you will get the drive and goals. That’s what Aribo brings to the team.
He covered more grounds than any other player on the pitch against Benin and for Iwobi, he contributed nothing special to the team.

With the midfield crowded, Ndidi and Etebo seems like the two players with automatic shirts and Iwobi and Aribo now have to fight for the remaining slot.

Aribo looks ahead of Iwobi in the team and Iwobi must learn from Aribo if he wants to be a dynamic midfilder.

http://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/49bb0571cfe276f965f713fc36ed9c6c?client=news
Different players with different styles of play. Iwobi is a playmaker/secondary playmaker while Aribo is an all action b2b midfielder.
Aribo prefers coming from deep a la Ramsey, Gerrard and to a certain extent Yaya.
If we play with a 4-3-3, than Aribo can start over him(or simply move Iwobi to the left) but in a 4-2-3-1 formation, I wouldn't pick Aribo as a 10 over Iwobi.

I'm not saying that MOSES SIMON has done badly but only picking up the flaws that should have made him world class by now and its the same observation with CHUKWUEZE.

I mean, The percentage contribution in the final third as Strikers.

Look, If these guys are like MANE And SALLAH for LIVERPOOL, No Team would have compare to NIGERIA in Africa by now.

I do not hate on Players like you are assuming but just making my opinion known analytically without any element of bias.

Well, I'm SORRY about mentioning JJ OKOCHA in relation to the comment about IWOBI but clearly, his continued first team appearance in the SE is because of the lack of a better competitor though

Else ARSENAL wouldn't have allowed him go like that.

I believe things would change pretty soon going by the discovery of JOE ARIBO already as he was all over the place yesterday.

Once again, I'm sorry for mentioning his Uncle for my intention was never meant as perceived already going by 2 comments about that already.

That is the point. NIGERIA SE is attack minded and so there is the need to always deploy the best of the best to deliver the necessary Goals for Victories.

The argument is that Samuel KALU should continue to start while MOSES comes in as a sub. just like ROHR has been doing.

But forgiveness though thought otherwise and I asked he give reason(s) why he thinks MOSES should start ahead of KALU, he gave graphic stats and I tried to counter why the status quo should remain.

Now it's been twisted to mean that one is hating on some players. I wouldn't blame anybody though because they might not have been following from the beginning.

Aribo is a natural cm/b2b midfielder whose best attributes are driving the ball forward, ball retention and making himself available in the opponents 18 yard box to score.

He can play from the no 10 position but I will prefer any of Iwobi, ejaria or Eze in that role.

Aribo is a Yaya toure, sedou keita and Steven Gerard kind of player
