Baba, how far the update on your R7? Help me with review on if it has bugs. I no wan put head till all of you have updated grin

So far so good, it's dope. I won't say there are no bugs but I'm yet to notice any.

Although, you'll need to do a factory reset after the update.

The nature sounds for notification is dope. Very dope. The ability to schedule dark mode is also awesome.

The phone settings is better now.

If I try playing songs with earphones I don't hear anything, when I set the phone on silent then turn off, it plays
If it goes to the next song same thing. Happens on both music players I have
No bug here. Tested with Poweramp and jetAudio

You see where you shot your self?

The phone is Mi Note 10 not Redmi Note 10.

Can you point to me a phone with such specifications on the Mi Note 10 including the 108Mp camera priced lower?.

Well, I've updated but I've really taken time to explore. The little changes I've seen are cool though.

Did u have to do a factory reset after updating?

Hello guys,

I have been a Widows phone user for years, but as with the end of windows phone, am trying to switch to other makes reluctantly. I have used Infinix hot S that i received as a gift back in 2016, In fact i still use it for my social media interactions (I don't receive calls with it). I need to change it , cause its slow and has limited space (16gb) + it runs Android 7 etc.

Now i still use my windows phones to make & receive calls only. I am currently looking for a phone to replace these phones , one that would do both calls and social media etc. I have been observing these Chinese brands e.g Xaomi & co , they don't seem to be popular like the samsungs and iphones , but it seems they give high specs @ lower price.

I'am considering Xaomi currently looking at Redmi Note 8 Pro/Mi 9/Mi 9SE/Mi Note 10. Please what can you guys tell me about the Xaomi brand (Usability, Convenience, Battery drain, Heat, OS Update, Durability, Camera Quality, maintenance , resell value) etc. For example the Mi Note 10 comes with a "108MP rear camera", while the Redmi Note 8 Pro boasts of a "64 MP" quad camera setup please how good are these photos ?? whats your experience with older models of Xaomi ? are these just bogus claims ? are the cameras as fantastic as their Mega Pixel numbers?

Thanks in advance .

Infinix X3 did the job well

Treyknowles:
I used the one meant for Tecno pouvoir 3 plus though it didn't really fit but it will do the job till I get a suitable one in ib.

Redmi series are no longer budget friendly devices!! Thier recent note 10 cost about 140k

Note 7 and note 8 is the last budget friendly phone from redmi series.

Redmi series and redmi note series are not the same. Eg redmi 8 and redmi note 8.

Redmi note series and mi note series are not the same. Eg redmi note 3 and mi note 3

one more thing please, do you game on your note 8 pro?

Interested because I'm a gamer. Waiting for ps5 but my phone would suffer before then.

My current phone handles PUBG, pes2020 and COD mobile moderately well but lately, some thin annoying lines flash when I do anything graphic intensive. I want to replace it.
it handles games like a charm compared to my redmi note 5.u cant get a better midrange phone for gaming (unless u get the Chinese version of Huawei's honor 9x with its kirin 810 soc)

The gaming is great you can play all games at high and and still retain 60fps optimal. You don't have to worry for gaming for the next 3-4years.

I have any game you can think of, I bought the phone for my coming gaming blog www.androidgamex.com and YouTube channel.
is jade empire working on your phone
