Hi guys, I will soon update this thread with pictures but then you'd need to excuse me for sometime grin grin grin We are having intensive days here.

However, I can answer questions as I often come to the forum to read news or get updates.

Thanks to everyone for your encouragements. We all hope that someday, everyone of us will agree to press the Restart button for our country. It feels so shameful knowing that nothing works in Nigeria save corruption, killing and etc.

I don't know what your problem is. I haven't forced or persuaded anyone to come to France.

And for your information, I school in a grande ecole in France. It's school for the elites and doubt I would have any negative experience here. I don't look for work to sustain myself, I am paid every month.

Sorry o. Just that I was in France and KNOW it’s no paradise - no place is. That’s why it gets annoying reading some of these comments. In the past people who schooled in these places chose to go back home for a reason. Now everybody thinks “abroad” is heaven. That’s why we have Nigerians in every nook and cranny of the world being fourth class citizens and disgracing themselves.
The below are also France

I think it's own by either the government or a company rendering the service. I guess it should be a public private partnership

As we prepare for another picture moment tomorrow, let me give you highlights of the few little events that I have learned here.

Before then, let me welcome you to the table tonight.

In Nigeria, I take 1759 and Heineken, but here, I haven't seen 1759, so Heineken is my only choice. So let's drink
OP did u buy the drink or it was offered free to u?

First off.am saving up some money to move over there..How easy is it to get a job over there? And would advise a young guy to come over and work base on your experience there?

I'm back to Nigeria. I only went to the UAE for vacation. But a friend told me it's easy to get a job once you have enough money.

But from my observations and what these friends that live there do say:

Cost of living is high in most places in Dubai. Depends on the area but you'll get a decent room for 350k per month and above. There are not-so-neat places too, could go for 150k per month.

Many Nigerians there are doing menial jobs, nothing serious - from security guards at the hospital to working in factories and malls there, selling things in the market etc. And some of them complain of not getting paid that much or late payment.

I also know some that buy and export things to Nigeria.

These are my observations. You do your own research too.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best. smiley

Personally, what I know is that one must have atleast an upper degree, however, I am sure some applied with a lower degree and got it.

If you have a powerful Statement of Purpose, a panel of sane people should be able to overlook your class of degree.

Nice thread mrphysics. I've been a silent follower and I must confess, I'm enjoying every bit of this thread and also learning from it.

I plan on applying for AUSTRALIAN AWARDS and my major hurdle seem to be SOP. Please I need your help concerning a convincing and "powerful" statement of purpose

Not a straight forward answer. But it's you anyway.

PTDF strategic partnership plays little role here simply because they shortlist names after the schools are done with admission process already. It's a failure on their side.

Germany scholars this year were affected. Getting admission in UK universities is easy.

It is important to state that the scholarship is dependent on your admission status. Imagine telling you not to contact the school during application process and then instruct you to get admission after releasing the names when the admission processes are closed.

In this case what happens?

Just imagine wetin one girl for Nigeria send me this afternoon.

This kind of entitlement mentality is one of our worst attribute.

Like I said before, guys, if you think if you have a good girl in Nigeria, well, maybe you are lucky when you compare it to what is around, but trust me bro, their goodness is below average. Same goes to the guys too. Like I have to reexamine myself too and decide to be good too. grin grin grin

That leads me to how I met my first two friends.

but you know the Calais jungle was built by Syrian refugees, who littered everywhere they went and attacked people, sleeping on the tracks and being a nuisance. They are the problem, not France
