Did you miss where I stated that it's not necessary?

I deliberately used that word because I know I'll definitely be quoted out of context if I don't use it. And here we are.

Plus, I also added that if they update and don't face any issues, then there's no need for that.

Now, point to where I stated that it won't run fine.

Sometimes, it's very good to just waka and pass. I know you are a good guy but you'll definitely give everyone the impression that you are very troublesome. Hence, why most people have issues with you here.

Thank you and Good morning.

Bros, if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed better go back to bed.

There's no hard and fast rule to having a phone run as it's designed to, stop forming rom developer here.

Alas, they are right about you.

So because I gave an opinion that you literally took out of context, then I'm forming ROM developer?

I'm not the reason you couldn't comprehend simple English o and lest you start using uncouth language for me too like you used for some people above, I'll let this slide.

@2kurupt and Olayinkajnr.... Abeg make una no vex ehn... You both right from you point of views, just not 100% right.
@ Olayinkajnr, for transsion devices, factory reset is almost inevitable after and upgrade (not update). I was a victim of that with my infinix note 3 Pro. More like that phone was used for lab rat and the improvements were made on infinix note 4. I was forced to go to carlcare hq and request for a downgrade. The software dept were surprised and said I was the first to come for a downgrade, and that everyone has been coming for an upgrade. They tried to talk me out of it but I refused. They had to call their supervisor who left his office and came downstairs. I pointed out the bugs one by one. They "tied" me down for more than 2hrs, and a nice lady offered me tea cos I was very early in the morning. There and then, a mail was sent to their counterpart in China to table all the complaints I made (after they tried different OS on it and issues persisted). One would expect an update would be released to fix the bugs but no, it was rather improved upon, in note 4. All the complaints I made were improved on, and note 3 was completely forgotten. For other models, improvements were made on later updates, but not note 3. Til date, I stil dey OS 6 (wish I could enjoy the spilt s reen feature among other things
@2kurupt some manufacturers have been able to perfect their OS that a factory reset is not necessary after an upgrade, to keep the phone in full functionality. Bugs are usually corrected with updates wish are released shortly after the upgrade nd factory reset is not necessary. Samsung has that reputation... Want to believe Xiaomi is in the clique too.
Biko, let us have a "fight free" weekend for the first time in like forever... It is doable..... Biko
Once again, you both right

So stating my experience of having 100% bug free updates across devices over the years now means am looking for trouble? Or anybody that quotes you must have an ulterior motive?

If in case you're paranoid plz don't take it out on me, better go see a psychologist.

Olayinkajnr.... Abeg make una no vex ehn... You both right from you point of views, just not 100% right.

I'm not even trying to be right. I'm not claiming to be.

Right or not right, I've made do with the statement "not necessarily".

Now any sensible person will see that by that, it means, it's not a must for one to do a factory reset on his/her phone after an update but it's advisable so as to avoid any issue that can be easily fixed by factory reset. I don't see the need to go back and forth over something that the statement "not necessarily" have already done justice to.

Now to the issue of fight? Do you think I'll stoop so low and push away the kunun gyada and akara that my wife prepared for me to concentrate on one useless fight with someone on a faceless forum? Nah. Maybe after I finish the kunun kyada and akara but not now. grin

BTW, you can write ooo

I can relate with your what you stated above. I've never owned a Transsion device before but I can attest to having issue free OS updates on my previous Samsung, LG and currently Xiaomi. I guess I've always been lucky.

Frankly speaking neither trolling, sarcasm nor fight was on my mind when I quoted that guy, so if he's got a problem with me then he should deal with it.

Well not interested in any cyber fisticuffs.

But when one gets wrongly accused twice within a space of 6 hours on this thread, if you don't set records straight people may think it's true.
