This is very true and a reflection of the practice globally.

Look at diasporan Nigerians in Europe, US, Asia....the money they repatriate home to support family, business and investment is huge and many families with relatives abroad are thankful for that support.
If these Nigerians are deported from their various host countries many families and businesses back home will bottom out.

Iboland is in same position with Lagos and other places in Yorubaland.
