CuriousX:You are able to go and learn how to do blogging but can't find time to learn how to drive, get a license and enjoy making money on your own but you would rather entrust the vehicle or the keke into someone else's hands? Bros, i think there are too much holes in your story, sorry for even commenting on the thread . . . . |

Fhemmmy:What holes are you talking about? it is not like driving takes one day to learn. i have begged my friends to teach me that i will buy fuel but they just tell me stories, no time and some other filmsy excuses. i know they fear i will bash their cars. The ones that may teach dont have cars. You should not use the fact that you had easy opportunity to learn to drive easily and think others have the same opportunity and are just being lazy. Can you take a car that has learner L to start? Not like i have money for the car/keke . My family wants to raise the money. I dont see the holes you are talking about |
| Re: Should I Buy Keke Or A Car For Uber In Benin? by CuriousX(op): 10:45pm On Nov 18, 2019 |
osazsky:i have not seen an uber with learner L before. i dont think a learner should carry car and do uber. I would not do that until i have confidence as a driver. Thank you for your time |

CuriousX:My brother, I took out time to read from page 1 till the last....First of all, don't call anyone that dropped their number for u to call, some ppl are not what they claim (Just becareful). I'm also going into transport biz by January by God's grace, I didn't know how to drive until when I went to driving school around July this year..The driving practicals were carried out on trunk B road; Ebute Ikorodu road to be precise, our teacher took us there to build confidence as a learner.... What I'm saying in essence is for u to go to any FRSC registered driving school and learn ...I Paid 16k for the 3weeks driving lesson....By then, I was able to know the basics of driving cos I didn't have car, however, constant driving will make ur hand to be strong... I can boldly tell u I can now drive from Ikorodu to Obalende without fidgeting.. Just put ur mind at it, u will surely get it. After the 3weeks training, u can later tell ur friend who's a good driver to sit beside u while driving ur own car just to get more knowledge for like a month or thereabout, in no distant time u will be good at it, trust me. Nobody carry driving from heaven come earth, even Lewis Hamilton wey be one of the greatest drivers, na earth him come learn am. You will be glad u handled the transport biz urself instead of giving it out to those wicked drivers... I'm not even going into Uber or bolt, I'll be plying from Ikorodu to Obalende independently. I believe I can |

CuriousX:Speaking from personal experience, whichever option you decided to settle for "Keke or Uber", make sure you put it up for HIRE purchase and not delivery. Most drivers tend to be more focused when they have a target in mind which is paying for the tricycle or vehicle. |

Guy go to any driving school now and learn properly, then buy an Audi. Ply ring road to Aduwawa bye-pass daily(morning and evening), that road is very good....forget that Uber or bolt thing....after 6-9months u venture into business with profits made. Commercial Driving isn’t a long term thing because u won’t know when u start acting like an agbero. |

tinz:bro, I reside in benin, lemme advise you, just look for indigenous transport companies i mean those buses that ply ring road and all. give your buses to those companies and they'll in turn get drivers for your intended delivery |

tinz:The thing with Nigerians is that if its not their property they won't give adequate care to it..they destroy your keke or tricycle and leave it for u to deal with .even with tenants.they destroy your house then move out |

Pascalville:Hey , its not that easy. Is the said guy ready to put in the work from 5/6am in the morning to 8pm at night daily for 6days a week? The return on uber/taxify is so meagre that drivers are now scrambling to pay their weekly remittance and that is if they're lucky not to take a one way route or park somewhere or have a cosmetic damage on their car where LASTMA, VIO and council boys would make you their money pet. Another point is the fares are extremely low that you have to compete with many drivers for trips. It is not easy brother but if the OP is willing to drive his car, avoid going to some places on the mainland, log out of his App by 8pm irrespective of how much he's made and get a durable fuel efficient car . The hustle is not so bad that he won't make 25k weekly after fuel and commission. |

CuriousX:Bros, i wish i had it easy, if i tell you my story, you will cry and even hand over the money to be raised for you to me . . . Please don't let us be fooled by faceless posts, how let me show you where your post has a hole: 1. You will go and learn how to blog - There is NO guarantee that you will make money from blogging 2. You are asking your friends to teach you how to drive, i am sure where you live, there are driving schools, why do you have to depend on people to teach you how to drive when you can invest on yourself to learn how to drive 3. You will rather give the vehicle to someone else that No matter how nice the person is, they will NEVER know the pain you went through to raise the money used in buying the car, but instead they see opportunity to make their own money at your own expense 4. If you are smart enough to learn how to blog, you can be smart enough to learn how to drive within weeks 5. If you are really serious about NOT wasting the money that will be contributed into your venture, then, you will NEVER trust someone else to make you money while you do blogging 6. If you want to learn blogging, you can be an UBER driver and schedule your driving around your learning of blogging, meaning you are able to achieve both. 7. You are telling me that till you get someone that will teach you how to drive, you will always depends on people to take you here and there and that means you will never learn how to cut the chord If people are contributing for you to start this venture, what do you plan to put into it from your own self? At least invest into how to learn and the people that wanna invest into you will see that you are serious and mean business. Now let me ask you a question, you give the car to someone to drive and you want to take the ride back because he is messing with the ride, what will you do, Call Chukwu to come and help you drive it? Bros, you don;t have to see things through my own lens of view but the fact remain one thing . . ."Heaven only helps those that help themselves" and so far, i am yet to see where and what you wanna do to help yourself. |
