WAEC CASS - What It Means For WASSCE 2020 Candidates by DesChyko(op):
Prior to the conclusion of 2017/2018 session, WAEC issued the notice pictured below, directing all WAEC approved schools to register the students who will conclude S.S.1 class that session and proceed to upload their Continuous Assessment scores in each subject.
This exercise is to be repeated at the conclusion of their S.S.2 class (the session that just ended) and finally, their S.S.3 CASS, before WASSCE 2020 commences. It will also continue for every school candidate that completes S.S.1 class thereon.
A lot of people met this with mixed feelings as they are unsure if WAEC can implement this, but evidence at play may convince the audience to perhaps take it a little more seriously.
There are new software releases on the CASS download page which points to the fact that they have the intention of implementing it. For those who were unfortunate to make mistakes of even the most petty nature last year, the fines paid for correction remains a subtle reminder not to joke with WAEC registration process. For now, it means any unregistered candidate as at S.S.1 will be ineligible to write the scheduled exams for that set when due.
Schools that are WAEC approved can easily proceed to the download page with a PC capable of installing the prequisites and WAEC CASS application. Schools that are not WAEC approved should register their candidates under an approved school. When candidates are successfully registered, a CASS reference number is generated which is necessary in identifying the student registration and details.
The bad news is that registration of these candidates should be done before 31st August every year. The good news is that the portal for uploading the S.S.1 CASS of the students that will be writing next year is still open. Hurry now and ensure your school candidates are eligible for the exams next year.
Comments are also welcome. Thanks.

Nice information. Thanks
Is it possible to replace a student who's no more coming to school or add a new student after uploading the rest online and after the deadline?

Apologies for the late reply.
Students cannot be replaced as they habe records with the school at the time they were there.
And with the deadline in effect, only the class available for upload can be worked on.
For those yet to upload theirs, we hope WAEC comes u0 with a reprieve soon.
