I noticed purplenerd has left nairaland because of cyber bullying in this place. I can't see hosey and many other influential nairalanders comments in this travel section anymore.

Enough of this bullying. Moderators need to ban some monikers who are guilty and given preferential treatment. Those people were contributing so much and they have now left.

Too bad.

People who joined this thread just last year and decided to insult anybody who disagrees with them? They believed that many of us here are misleading people and that people should listen to them alone and not many us?

Are many of you here on cheap weed or just joking? Who are the people that kept this thread running for 10yrs now?

Feel free to disagree with people here and share your experience but to insult people because they disagreed with you or accuse them falsely will not be accepted here

This is for those creating an ID just to come and lecture us about how to behave .

If you don't like how people answers question here go and pay an agent to help you.

I did not see any bullying here, i see people having disagreement which is normal.

Rather than wasting time creating an ID just to come and complain..use that time to engage in research about the UK student visa processes.

Nobody is paid here to answer question and get rewarded with insults.

You would hardly get asked about your wife or what she would do.
Reading back several pages, you would see that "UK Visa Interview has a pattern"
Name,
School,
Accommodation
Your course
Why UK..
Why that course
Why that school...
As for Accommodation, check some online using gum tree or spare room know the cost , distance to your school, cost of getting to your school and tell the interviewer that you saw some online , will stay at a bed and breakfast for some days to enable you see physically and decide.

Good day everyone!

I have been following this thread for weeks now because I plan on applying for a UK tourist visa.

I’m 25 years old and using a chinese student visa which is renewed yearly after tuition is paid.

I visited South Korea last year and I also traveled to Japan (April) and France (September) this year.

I have started the renewal of my residence permit and I’d like to apply for the UK tourist visa.

I have gotten T-Bills certificate from my parents worth 10 million naira and also account balance of circa 1.5 million naira, C of O and a survey for another landed property all of which are scanned copies.

I engage in a petty business which makes huge sums of amount going in and out of my account.

I help people (Nigerians) who want to pay their chinese agents, hence the reason of inflow of huge sums in my chinese bank account.

I filled in I have a personal savings which is equivalent to 1m naira.

I’m at the crossroad now because I do not have proofs to show these transactions other than conversations with this people and naira sent to my Nigerian bank account.

Also, my monthly expense I raised it to 130k which sometimes is possible. My monthly rent is 62k rmb and I have receipts for this, and I have utility bills of about 10k monthly which sums up to 72 rmb monthly.

My feeding goes up to about 55k which is because I do not eat some certain things and part it is used for some miscellaneous expenses.

I sponsor myself but just trying to use these documents with my parents name saying they’re sponsoring me with 1500 pounds flight, hotel and daily expenses for 9 days tourist visit.

Here’s a break down of the 1500.00

Flight; 532 pounds

Hotel; 460 pounds

The remaining balance would be used for feeding and buying tickets for tourist sites.

I can get letter from the school, also I’d like to ask if scanned copies of the T-Bills, statement, IDs and signed letters of my parents work?

I’d like to know if this is a good shot or are there anything I should add.

Thank you so much.

Positive ,if you have the funds required for all of you in your account that same time.
Check UKVI guidelines.

you have to call their admission office informing them of your payment and once they can confirm such fee in your student account the confirmation letter will be issued instantly.

I also asked a similar question but didn't get any compelling feedback. Wanna decide btw RGU and Leeds Beckett. Tilted more towards RGU cos of job prospects in Aberdeen but d extremely cold weather and distance from London (where i have family) is discouraging me

No one can tell you with certainty whether to go or not. Getting job also depends on your skills, experience and opportunity. It also depends on your prospective course. Look for jobs with employers that sponsor for TIER 2. Is your job focus in shortage skills?
You will need to do your homework yourself.

scotland is good, England is overpopulated with low job prospect. Aberdeen is not a good option in scotland, expensive lifestyle. Try GCU, UWS , uni. Sterling, all in scotland

Good morning guys. No doubt we have smart guys here, when i need clarification i come to this forum and go through questions and answers posts. So Transperent unlike agents that wont tell you most truth, but this forum would do so especially with hot debates over subject matters. Thumbs up guys!

That been said, Please i would like to get some clarifiation. I am to apply for Visa on monday 25th Nov, thereafter pick the next available date for interview here in Abuja. I am thinking of which would be better, standard or Priority? Reasons been that my resumption date is 27th January and i have heard that you are not allowed into the UK except a month to your start date which for mine is 27th Dec. Contrary to this some sources are saying the moment i get my visa i can travel even 2weeks to my expected depature date. The truth is, i intend traveling earlier so that i can settle down do everything like getting NI and a Job as well as work a bit before my start date which is 27th Jan 2020. I also want to travel before the xmas/new year period 20th dec to 1st jan 2020. This is to avoid the stress, risk and cost of traveling that period. If i am to make do with the "one-month to course start date" then i am expected to leave by 27th Dec and my parents already said i wld hv to postpone the trip and wait till first week of January to travel and this could make the time i hv to settle down before classes short. Hence to achive travelling earlier the taught of priorty came up. Because standard could place my visa coming in at mid Dec and before i could prepare, the xmas period is up against me. So guys please i need ur advice, suggestion and clarification mostly about departure time after visa is issued me.

Also i had to refusal from Australia in Feb and August over insufficient home ties, hope this wont be much a problem because i would be tendering my previous refusals. Though i now have a registered Telecommunucations Business name with CAC, this business brings in daily cash flow and is visible on my prove of funds though my mom is my sponsor but the money is in my account. I also currently have an employment with an NGO since March,(180k salary). But after bringing these documents including membership certificate with Red Cross, Rotary international, my 7.0 Ielts all just to make things juicy this time, BCIE are of the view that these doesnt matter for UK. I should only work with whats on my CAS (which is degree, transcript and prove of funds) that theres no need saying or supporting my application with home ties employment and other documents. I am only been careful and proactive. Thanks guys in anticipation.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by Zoey1: 8:44am On Nov 22, 2019
1. UK Tier 4 is a point based system, dislodge that previous from your mind first.
Follow what you have learnt here ,have the right funds ,answer correctly and genuinely and you would get your visa.
2. Sometimes people get their decision earlier than stipulated ,albeit Dec has a couple of holidays so this is going to be your decision.
Considering a previous refusal its not advisable to use Priority (as advised by UKVI)
Also is the fact that there would be surge in the price of ticket this season except on celebration days.
Don't complicate your application with unnecessary documents, follow what's on your CAS.
If you have a paid job submitting CAC and personal business details which you will not be asked will lengthen your process.
