healthserve: The current border is just a stopgap measure. It is not a policy that will be in place forever. Government is only trying to force our neighbors to do more in terms of fighting smuggling from their end while efforts are also put in place from our end to secure our porous border. |

musicwriter: The problem even goes further. These days when people of high intellect profer better solutions, there's an army of yes-men ready to claw down intellects that can proffer smart intelligent solutions to problems challenging the nation Sick leaders, fanatical followers who are quick to react before making discretionary thinkering 1 Like |

healthserve: It is achieving results already. All our neighbors are now negotiating with the FG and committing to do more in terms of combating smuggling. There is nothing disrespectful about securing our borders. Trump is using so many tactics to secure America’s border and also engaging in trade war with China and even the EU just to get a better deal for American businesses. Nigeria’s interest must come first in all our relationship with other countries. 1 Like |

seunmsg: Its not about rice. Not about results. Not about local production. Closing the borders for a day and using the ECOWAS passport is conflicting The solutions are in the country and not with neighbouring countries. |
