Re: From U.S To Canada by AngelicBeing: 10:52am On Nov 20, 2019
Both US & Canadian visa is an uphill task for Nigerians to get now because of past misdeeds by lots of people but however some people are still been issued the visa if you meet the requirements and meets a VO who woke up from a good dream.

Again, considering your present circumstances as a Virgin passport holder, it might likely be a herculean task for you but not impossible all things been equal.

Things like travel history, your current job, salary, investment, lands and all the assets you have in Nigeria plus your current marital status will play a significant role in deciding your visa approval by either the US or Canada.

Moreover, post your questions on the US / CANADA visit visa Thread for a larger response from different people

Lastly, avoid the agent as much as you can because he might do things with your applications that might likely come back to hurt you in future, agents are mostly interested in collecting your money to eat amala, bokoto, shaki, fried chicken, Turkey, goat meat etc and drink alcohol like legend stout / Hennessey / Vodkas and also sleep with slay Queens in cosy hotels while you suffer whatever wrong information imputed on your application alone.

If you don't want western embassies to flog your visa application like the pictures below as a result of a doggy packaged visa application by a dodgy agent avoid visa agents, good luck cheesy

Forget that agent..check the links below for genuine ways to migrate permanently to Canada

US most likely won't even give you visa on your virgin passport.. let it go and try genuine ways to migrate.

I know after all said, you'll still give that agent your money.. but I wish you the best cheesy

No, traveling to all those countries you mentioned via land border is absolute waste of time /energy and resources, they are not regarded as significant / important travel destinations by most embassies, however, traveling to places like the U.K, Schengen zones like France /Germany / Denmark / Spain / Belgium etc is more recognized as good travel history but again it is not a guarantee that your visa will be issued, the VO will look at other factors in your applications like your current job / salary / marital status / investment you have in Nigeria to finally decide if you qualify for a visa

The bar for getting a visa as a Nigerian from Nigeria has been raised to power 1billion by most embassies in Nigeria, most embassies want to be sure that you have a reasonable amount of investment that will make you come back if granted a visa, and looking at your current profile now, I don't think you will scale the litmus test of securing a western visa,

Moreover don't allow the way Buhari / APC led federal criminals are deceiving Nigerian's to be deceived by any abracadabra Oluwole agent to go -ahead with any dubious visa application because they might likely input wrong information for you and this will destroy your chances of ever getting a visa in the long run.

Go back, sit down and take note of all l have written down but if you choose to go with your agent, that is your choice but be ready to suffer the consequences in the long run.

lf you have a profile like the following, you may likely qualify for a western visa... Name >> Rosebuzz, salary 600,000 naira, previously traveled to Belgium / France / UK / Austria for vacation, years of employment = 6, Investment in Nigeria = landed property or currently building a small 2bedroom apartment, marital status = Engaged or about to marry, Educational qualifications = degree holder but planning to go for Masters degree in Aeronautic / Space Engineering.....
A distinct profile like this might set you apart to be considered for a US / CANADA or any western visas visa, with what I have said so far, evaluate yourself

Before I proceed further, answer this questions,

What is your educational background?

What did you study in the University?

What is your marital status?

If you answer my questions above, I will give you my honest advice on the country you should go to

The only country l think your current profile might fit in is Dubai, if and only if you can apply for a job online and get a company based in the UAE / Dubai to sponsor your employment visa to Dubai, don't go to Dubai with a 3 months visit visa looking for jobs because you might likely not find one till your visa elapses, and if you choose to go to Dubai, post your questions on the UAE / DUBAI thread and connect with other Nigerian's already in Dubai to give you heads-up.

You will be wasting your time and money but I don't think anyone here will convince you until the agent is done with you.

You don't have the profile to get a visa to any western countries so your agent has to use fake documents and ruin your immigration profile, at that point you will not need anyone to advise you again.

like how much advisable to have in an account, for bank statement to process Canada tourist visa

It is not about the amount you have in your account but the inflow / outflows, some people get Canadian visa with lesser amount of money while others with fat bank account are denied, but you have to avoid dumping a lump sum of money into your account under the guise of applying for visa to any country because it is a redflag and called money- lodgement to fool the VO to skew the visa approval in your favor.

Secondly, make sure that what you are budgeting for your trip will not take all the cash from your account. You can't have 2 million Naira as a closing balance and you want to spend 1.6 million Naira for vacation?

Again you can't just dump 20 million Naira few weeks or 2 months to your visa application, the VO's are well trained to spot all your abracadabra

In-addition, as for the amount to have in your account, l cant put a figure to it but having a reasonable amount of money is good, and also know that all western embassies especially US and Canada have special koboko laden with chilly pepper given to them by Donald Olusegun Ibrahim Eze Trump and the Canadian Prime Minister to flog shege comot from misrepresentation / dodgy Oluwole doctored bank statements / fake stamps and also telling lies on your visa application.

The pictures below is what the VO's do to all dishonest visa applicants from Nigeria.. Good luck

From the look of things it's most likely your friend asked for asylum in the USA and tendered his passport as a form of identification or maybe he was involved in one crime or the other and ICE is in possession of his passport . In any case the passport is confiscated by ICE pending the outcome of the court proceedings. If it's a positive one it will be returned to him ,if it's a negative one then I am sorry your friend will most likely face deportation from the usa. The seizure of the passport is basically to prevent him from leaving the country. His best bet for now is to find an immigration lawyer to help him out.

First of all what is your aim of traveling? Tourism, school or residency?
2. There is a high likelihood that you might be rejected Visa from the US embassy. My thoughts will be reasons for visit, home ties and finance
3. Entering Canada via US to seek asylum is not a palatable journey.. some ended well but many wished they never did.

So think things through before agents wey dey hustle him money put you for high jump.
