I don't know about other states. Also I don't know about salaries and pensions.
But the dead roads are being worked on in Owerri.

I see them doing serious work around the routes I ply. That's all I can say. Judging from that alone, I think the government is on the right path.

And no, am not from Imo state(so Mbaise is ruled out) I only live in Owerri

I think everyone that needs to know about Imo's current state should visit the thread on Imo state.

You'll see unbiased reports from the state, from people who want the best for their state.

Thanks

I am from the state, mbaitoli precisely. if u say Emeka is not doing anything, it either ur not from the state or an enemy of good governance. i don't like speaking for politicians because I don't trust any of them to maintain consistency for a long time but for now, Ihedioha is doing well. he understands governance, rule of law & due process. apart from on-going construction/ rehabilitation of critical roads in d state, he is trying to revive dead state own companies. u may not be away of the ongoing partnership with CBN & bank of Agriculture to revive Adapalm or what is being done to resolve the legal dispute on owerri shoe industry. pension is being paid regularly same with salary. my only interest in d state is her development, I am not a politician but all am saying is for u to make proper investigation b4 u write about any government be it state or Federal. ordinarily 6mnths is not enough to pronounce judgement on any first term governor so what we expect them now is to show the direction of their leadership
Thank you!
And that is what the thread is actually for!
Forthe residents of the states tobgv on ground info on hw well or poorly the new govt is performing.

Seyi Makinde of Oyo is just a con artist with a very good PR team. However, the over packaging of Makinde by his PR team will be his downfall. People expect him to live up to the hype already created around him and he's already faltering.

Already he goofed when he cancelled a road project Ajimobi awarded for 7billion with the claim that the money was padded only for him to award that same road project for 9billion. We are watching. cheesy

Oga Dindinrin, Iyekan Inaolaji Akinloye aka “and the likes”. . . . When did “goofing about a project” equal your alleged non performance?

You guys are still writhing in the pains of election loss. Oyo people rejected your lot outright with their votes. Somebody remind me of the margin of loss. . . .

yes they got paid for two months when it started now they receive pension monthly. if u have a pension put a call accross and ask if after the initial payment whether they have been paid again. it's as simple as that

In Oyo State in terms of payment of salaries the governor is really trying but the problem is issue of refuse the state is getting dirtier since he came on board.

My brother, your arguments are not constructive...... What OP said are his personal views, like he rightly stated .

So if you think otherwise, all you have to do is Marshal out your points, to put in clear sight of the real deal in Imo State. Not try to be shallow minded.

Oga this is too much ....though am not a politician and I don't care about the party provided the man at the helm of affairs in Oyo state is doing well but I will give 70 percent to Makinde in terms of infrastructure and he is up to date in payment of salaries but why is it that in every PDP regime in Oyo State the State is always dirty and for your information am an Ibadan man so Makinde is my brother so he should play less politics and face governance.

Aba/werri road is as bleeped as a sex doll. Onitsha road same. What exactly is emeka doing ?? Building stadiums in all the lga in Owerri .. What's that for ?? Abeg you people should chill biko.

You must be one of those thugs. Be rest assured that “Operation Amotekun” will catch up with you soon.

Instead of going to learn a trade you are here watching. I wonder if you’re sensible enough to get a grasp of what is going on. It’s no longer the era of onirunmu constituted authority.

Bros this not the issue of bringing your governor than just tell us his achievement since he came on board if you are from Imo state you can as well rate his performance.

IMO- i would say its too early to start keeping tabs on what these new governors are currently not doing, why? because they need time to digest and analyze the mess which was already created for them by the past governors, they aren't magicians. in the case of Imo state--- my dear, it wont be easy but its okay if the new governor takes baby steps for now, he's for now still better than our past. so i encourage everyone to support those in power and do the right thing as well meaning citizens.. Remember our problem is not with those in power, its us the masses.. yes us.
